Ադրբեջանական լրատվամիջոցները հաղորդում են ՀՀ Արարատի մարզի բնակչի` Նախիջևանի հատվածում սահմանը հատելու և ադրբեջանական կողմում հայտնվելու մասին: Ադրբեջանի գերիների անհայտ կորածների հարցերով հանձնաժողովը ևս հաստատել է լուրը:

Լուրը հայտնած ադրբեջանական լրատվամիջոցները տղամարդու անուն-ազգանունը ներկայացրել են տարբեր կերպ: Մի դեպքում` նրանք գրել են Հենրիխ Ագետյան, մեկ այլ դեպքում` Հենրիկ Ագեցյան: «Արմենպրես»-ին հաջողվեց ճշտել, որ սահմանը հատած տղամարդը Արարատի մարզի Այգեպատ գյուղի բնակիչ Հենրիկ Սարիբեկի Աղեկյանն է` ծնված 1954թ.: Նա, ամենայն հավանականությամբ, սահմանը հատել է օգոստոսի 7-ին:

ՀՀ գերիների, պատանդների և անհայտ կորածների հարցերով զբաղվող հանձնաժողովի աշխատանքային խմբի ղեկավար Արմեն Կապրիելյանն «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում նշեց, որ տվյալ անձնավորության հարազատներն արդեն դիմում են ներկայացրել, որ նա տնից գնացել է: Աղեկյանը տառապում է հոգեկան հիվանդությամբ, նախկինում փորձեր արել է հատելու հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանը, սակայն հայկական կողմից սահմանը հատելու փորձ կատարելիս հայտնաբերվել է, կանխվել է սահմանահատումը:

«Ճշտումներ են կատարվում, թե նա ինչ հանգամանքներում է անհետ կորել: Ադրբեջանական կողմում հայտնվելու մասին տեղեկատվության ստացումից հետո մենք անմիջապես սկսում ենք բանակցային պրոցեսը, պահանջում ենք, որ մեր քաղաքացուն վերադարձնեն: Հույս ունենք, որ դա տեղի կունենա ողջամիտ ժամկետներում: Չեմ կարծում, որ գործընթացը կձգձգվի, քանի որ հոգեկան խանգարումներ ունեցող անձանց Ադրբեջանը քաղաքական շահարկումների համար չի կարող օգտագործել: Նման մարդիկ հաշվետու չեն իրենց արածների համար, չեն էլ գիտակցում, թե որ ուղղությամբ են գնում: Ամեն դեպքում ան երկիրը, որտեղ հայտնվում է սահմանախախտը, կատարում է որոշակի ճշտումներ, որը կարող է տևել է 1-2 օրից մինչև մի քանի շաբաթ»,-ասաց Կապրիելյանը:
