ԱՄՆ պետդեպը հրապարակել է Հայաստանում կրոնական ազատությունների վերաբերյալ 2015թ. զեկույցը

Հայաստանի Սահմանադրությունը երաշխավորում է կրոնական ազատությունն ու հաստատում եկեղեցու և պետության բաժանման սկզբունքը՝ միաժամանակ ճանաչելով Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցին որպես ազգային եկեղեցի և ազգային ինքնության պահապան:
Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին ասված է ԱՄՆ պետդեպարտամենտի հրապարակած «Միջազգային կրոնական ազատություն-2015» զեկույցի՝ Հայաստանին վերաբերող հատվածում:
Զեկույցում նշվում է, որ 3.1 միլիոն (2015 թվականի հուլիսի տվյալներով) բնակչություն ունեցող Հայաստանում 2011 թվականի տվյալներով բնակչության 92 տոկոսն իրեն Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու հետևորդ է համարում: Մյուս կրոնական խմբերի մեջ մտնում են Կաթոլիկ եկեղեցու և Հայկական Մխիթարյան միաբանության հետևորդ կաթոլիկներ, ուղղափառ քրիստոնյաներ, հայ ավետարանական եկեղեցու հետևորդ քրիստոնյաներ, հիսունականներ, յոթերորդ օրվա ադվենտիստներ, բապտիստներ, խարիզմատիկ քրիստոնյաների տարբեր խմբեր, Եհովայի վկաներ, Հիսուս Քրիստոսի վերջին օրերի սրբերի եկեղեցու հետևորդն եր (մորմոններ), եզդիներ (եզիդիզմին հարող ոչ մահմեդական քրդեր), հրեաներ, սուննի մահմեդական քրդեր, շիա մահմեդականներ և հեթանոսներ:
«Թեպետ Սահմանադրությամբ ամրագրվում է կրոնական ազատությունը և հավատքը դավանելու, այն ընտրելու կամ փոխելու իրավունքը, սակայն երկրի Մայր օրենքը նաև ճանաչում է «Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու առանձնահատուկ դերը՝ որպես ազգային եկեղեցի հայ ժողովրդի հոգևոր կյանքում, ազգային մշակույթի զարգացման մեջ և ազգային ինքնության պահպանման գործում»: Սահմանադրությունը հստակորեն ընդգծում է ցանկացած մարդու դավանանքի ազատությունը` սահամանփակելով այն միայն այն պարագայում, երբ դա վնասում է հանրային անվտանգությանը, առողջությանն ու բարոյականությանը: Սահմանադրությունը, ելնելով, կրոնական նկատառումներից, թույլատրում է զինվորական ծառայության փոխարեն իրականացնել այլընտրանքային քաղաքացիական ծառայություն»,- ասված է զեկույցում:
Զեկույցում անդրադարձ է կատարվում նաև 2015թ. հանրաքվեով կյանքի կոչված սահմանադրական բարեփոխումներով կրոնական ազատությանը վերաբերող դրույթներին: Նշվում է, որ սահմանադրական բարեփոխումների՝ կրոնական ազատությանն առնչվող դրույթներն ուժի մեջ են մտել 2015թ. դեկտեմբերի 22-ից: Փոփոխություններ են կատարվել կրոնական շարժառիթներով զինվորական ծառայությունից խուսափողների համար այլընտրանքային ծառայության վերաբերյալ դրույթներում, որով պետությունը կարող է սահմանափակումներ դնել կրոնի ազատության արտահայտման հարցում՝ ելնելով պետական անվտանգութ յան նկատառումներից:
