ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Սեյրան Օհանյանը օգոստոսի 11-ին Հանքավանում ներկա է գտնվել «Միասնության ուժ-2016» ուսանողական-երիտասարդական հավաքի փակման արարողությանը: Ինչպես«Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարության տեղեկատվոթյան եւ հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, երիտասարդներին ուղղված իր խոսքում Սեյրան Օհանյանը կարևորել է պաշտպանական գերատեսչության համագործակցությունը երիտասարդական կազմակերպությունների հետ և շեշտել, որ նմանատիպ հավաքներն առաջին հերթին ձևավորում ու ամրապնդում են այն գիտելիքները, որոնք անհրաժեշտ են ցանկացած երիտասարդի:

«Յուրաքանչյուր պետության բաղկացուցիչ մասերն են հանդիսանում երկրի  տնտեսությունը, բանակը և նաև երիտասարդության հայրենասիրական դաստիարակությունը, որն ամբողջ հասարակության գաղափարական և հայրենասիրական դաստիարակության մասն է, առանց որի անհնարին կլինի իրականացնել երկրի պաշտպանությունը: Այս հավաքի ժամանակ դուք բաժանվել եք մի քանի ճակատների և անկասկած, առաջին հերթին ձեզանից յուրաքանչյուրը պետք է փորձի նմանվել Գարեգին Նժդեհին, Վազգեն Սարգսյանին, Մոնթե Մելքոնյանին, մարդիկ, ովքեր մե ծ ճանապարհ են անցել և երիտասարդներին ուղղված նրանց խոսքերում կա մեկ միտք՝ ապագան երիտասարդների ձեռքերում է: Մենք ամեն ինչ պետք է անենք, որ տեսնենք ձեզ ավելի պատրաստված, փորձառու, գրագետ: Ես միշտ հաստատակամությամբ ասել եմ, որ այսօրվա սերունդը մեզանից լավ պատրաստված է լինելու, ավելի լավ է ապահովելու հայրենիքի անվտանգությունը և տանելու այն զարգացման»,-ասել է Սեյրան Օհանյանը՝ հավելելով, որ ապրիլյան մարտական գործողությունների ժամանակ իր խոսքերի իրավացիությունը ապացուցեցին առաջնագծում կանգնած զինծառայողները:

ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարը պատասխանել է նաև երիտասարդների հարցերին ու մասնակցել գավաթների և պատվոգրերի հանձնման արարողությանը:

«Միասնության ուժ-2016» ուսանողական-երիտասարդական մեկշաբաթյա հավաքին մասնակցել են ՀՀ և Արցախի բուհերի շուրջ 200 ուսանողներ: Ուսանողական երեք ճակատները, որոնք կրել են Գարեգին Նժդեհի, Վազգեն Սարգսյանի և Մոնթե Մելքոնյանի անունները: Հավաքի ընթացքում երիտասարդները կազմակերպել են տարբեր մրցույթներ, անցկացրել մշակութային, մարզական և ռազմահայրենասիրական միջոցառումներ, հանդիպումներ:
