Առնվազն 53 մարդ Է զոհվել, եւս 50-ը վերքեր են ստացել Պակիստանի Քվետա քաղաքի (Բելուջստանի նահանգ, որը գտնվում Է երկրի հարավ-արեւմուտքում) հիվանդանոցներից մեկում իրականացված պայթյունի հետեւանքով: Այդ մասին հայտնել Է Express Tribune պակիստանյան թերթը:
«Ահաբեկչական գործողության գրեթե բոլոր զոհերը փաստաբաններ ու լրագրողներ են, որոնք հավաքվել Էին հոսպիտալի վերականգնողական բաժանմունքում՝ հարգելու Բելուջստանի փաստաբանների ասոցիացիայի նախագահ Բիլալ Անվար Քազիի հիշատակը, որն սպանվել Է օգոստոսի 8-ի առավոտյան»,-նշվում Է լրահաղորդման մեջ:
Ներկայում ոստիկանությունն օղակել Է հիվանդանոցի մերձակա շրջանը, Քվետայի բոլոր բուժհաստատություններում արտակարգ դրություն Է հայտարարված:
Տարածաշրջանում գործող խմբավարումներից ոչ մեկն առայժմ չի ստանձնել պայթյունի պատասխանատվությունը:
