Թուրքիայում «Դեմոկրատիա եւ շեհիդներ» խորագրով խոշոր հանրահավաք կանցկացվի

 Թուրքիայի իշխանությունները ծրագրել են օգոստոսի 7-ին Ստամբուլի Ենիքափը հրապարակում 3 մլն մարդու մասնակցությամբ «Դեմոկրատիա եւ շեհիդներ» անվամբ հանրահավաք անցկացնել` նվիրված հուլիսի 15-ին Թուրքիայում ռազմական հեղաշրջման փորձի ձախողմանը: Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը հեղաշրջման փորձը կազմակերպելու մեջ մեղադրել է չափավոր իսլամի թուրք քարոզիչ Ֆեթուլլահ Գյուլենին եւ նրա համակիրներին: Գյուլենը որպես վտարանդի բնակվում է ԱՄՆ-ի Փենսիլվանիա նահանգում: 
Վկայակոչելով թուրքական ԶԼՄ-ները, զանգվածային միջոցառման մասնակիցների համար նախատեսվում է 6 մլն թռուցիկներ, 3 հազար 200 պաստառ, 5 մլն ջրի շիշ, 1,5 մլն գլխարկ, 2,5 մլն Թուրքիայի դրոշ, 150 շարժական զուգարան:
Թուրքիայի նախագահ Էրդողանը միջոցառման հետ կապված երեկ հայտարարել է, որ հանրահավաքում Թուրքիայի դրոշին զուգահեռ մասնակիցները կարող են պարզել Ադրբեջանի եւ Կիպրոսի բռնազավթված թուրքական հատվածի դրոշները եւս:
Թուրքիայի գլխավոր ընդդիմադիր քեմալական Ժողովրդահանրապետական կուսակցության (ԺՀԿ)առաջնորդ Քեմալ Քըլըչդարօղլուն հայտարարել է, որ հանրահավաքին պատրաստվում են մասնակցել իր կուսակցության ներկայացուցիչները եւս:
Ենթադրվում է, որ հանրահավաքին կմասնակցեն նաեւ Թուրքիայի Ազգայնական շարժում կուսակցության ներկայացուցիչները: Այս երկու ընդդիմադիր կուսակցությունները հանրահավաքին հրավիրվել են մասնակցել թուրքական իշխանությունների կողմից:
Էրդողանի կողմից կազմակերպված «հակագյուլենական» հանրահավաքին չի հրավիրվել մասնակցել Թուրքիայի խորհրդարանում 80 պատգամավորական աթոռներ զբաղեցնող միակ քրդական Ժողովուրդների դեմոկրատական կուսակցությունը:
«Անադոլու» լրատվական գործակալությունը, հղում կատարելով Թուրքիայի ներքին գործերի նախարար Էֆքան Ալային, հաղորդել է, որ հունիսի 15-ին տեղի ունեցած ռազմական հեղաշրջման փորձից հետո Թուրքիայում ձերբակալվել է մոտ 26 հազար մարդ: Ներկայում կալանավորված են 13 419 կասկածյալներ, 74562 քաղաքացու անձնագիր չեղյալ է հայտարարվել: 
Պաշտոնական տվյալներով` Թուրքիայում հեղաշրջման փորձի ճնշման ժամանակ սպանվել է 238 մարդ, 2917 մարդ վնասվածքներ է ստացել: Մոտ 60 հազար մարդ պաշտոնից հեռացվել է չափավոր իսլամի թուրք քարոզիչ Ֆեթուլլահ Գյուլենի ուսմունքին սատարելու կասկածանքով, որոնց Անկարան ահաբեկիչներ է համարում: 
Ֆեթուլլահ Գյուլենի «Հիզմեթ Հարեքեթի» շարժումը քարոզում է իսլամական չափավորություն, հանդուրժողականություն, միջկրոնական երկխոսություն, իսլամի եւ ժողովրդավարության համատեղելիություն:
