Այսօր հեռավոր Ռիո դե Ժանեյրոյում մեկնարկում են 31-րդ ամառային Օլիմպիական խաղերը: Օլիմպիադան տարվա կարևոր իրադարձություններից մեկն է՝ ոչ միայն մարզական առումով:

Օլիմպիական խաղերը խաղաղության, հանդուրժողականության խորհուրդ ունեն և չգրված կանոններով դադար են տալիս պատերազմներին, պետությունների քաղաքական և տնտեսական լարված հարաբերություններին, քաղաքացիական բախումներին:

Օլիմպիական խաղերը վաղուց հարթակ են ոչ միայն անհատ մարզիկների, նրանց ցուցանիշների և ռեկորդների, այլ նաև պետությունները ներկայացնող հավաքականների մրցակցության համար:

Ժամանակակից սպորտն այսօր մեծապես բացահայտում է որևէ պետության պոտենցիալը, նրա քաղաքական, տնտեսական, սոցիալական հնարավորությունների սահմանագիծը:

Սպորտը հասարակական, սոցիալական կյանքի բաղկացուցիչ է և չի կարող ենթակառուցվածքային զարգացում ունենալ, եթե պետության մեջ բացակայում են անհրաժեշտ նախադրյալները: 

Այս առումով պետք է իրատես լինել և Օլիմպիադային մասնակից մեր հավաքականից պահանջել այն, ինչի հնարավորությունները ստեղծել ենք բոլորս:

Մյուս կողմից բարեբախտություն է, որ ՀԱՕԿ-ը՝ ի դեմս Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի, ունի սպորտին, մեր մարզիկներին նվիրված ղեկավարություն:

Թերևս սրանով պայամանավորված՝ մենք արդարացի սպասելիքներ ունենք, որ կոնկրետ մարզաձևերում մերոնք Ռիոյից կվերադառնան մեդալներով:

Փոքր երկրները սովորաբար իրենց հարևանների հետ մրցակցելու  բարդույթ ունեն: Հաշվի առնելով հայ-ադրբեջանական հակամարտությունը՝ մենք նույնիսկ մարզական հարթության մեջ հեռակա մրցակցում ենք ադրբեջանցիների հետ:

Միանգամայն ճիշտ էր Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը, որ իր վերջին ասուլիսում ժամանակավրեպ ու փոքր համարեց հայ-ադրբեջանական մարզական մրցակցությունը: Մեր մարզիկներից յուրաքանչյուրը ոչ միայն ադրբեջանցու հաղթելու, այլև աշխարհում առաջին ուժեղագույնը լինելու խնդիր ունի:

Ծառուկյանը տվել է հավակնոտ, բայց հստակ ձևակերպում: Բարի երթ մեր մարզիկներին:
