Հայաստանի գլխավոր դատախազ Գևորգ Կոստանյանը անսպասելիորեն հրաժարական է տվել՝ իր քայլը պատճառաբանելով առողջական խնդիրներով։
Գլխավոր դատախազության կայքէջում հրապարակված հաղորդագրության համաձայն, Կոստանյանն իր հրաժարականի մասին հայտնել է Դատախազությունում տեղի ունեցած Կոլեգիայի նիստի ընթացքում՝ նշելով, թե նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն ընդունել է իրեն աշխատանքից ազատելու դիմումը։ Կոստանյանն այսօրվանից վայր է դնում իր լիազորությունները։
Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի մամուլի խոսնակ Վլադիմիր Հակոբյանը «Ազատության» հետ հեռախոսազրույցում նշեց, որ առողջական խնդիրները լուծելուց հետո ակնկալում են Կոստանյանի վերադարձը պետական համակարգ:
Գևորգ Կոստանյանը հրաժարական է տալիս վերջին շաբաթներին Հայաստանում ծավալված դրամատիկ իրադարձություների ֆոնին: ՊՊԾ գնդի տարածքը երկու շաբաթ վերահսկողության տակ պահած «Սասնա ծռերի» քրեական գործը փաստորեն կքննվի արդեն այլ գլխավոր դատախազի վերահսկողությամբ:
«Իրոք առողջություն է պետք ունենալ այս ամեն ինչը կուլ տալու, մարսելու համար շարունակ կեղծելու այդ ապօրինի գործելաոճը։ Հնարավոր է, որ տար հրաժարական դրա համար, թեև չեմ բացառում, որ կարող են ներքին խնդիրներ լինել՝ անպայման կապված այս իրավիճակի հետ», - ասում է իրավապաշտպան Ժաննա Ալեքսանյանը։
