Արեւմուտքը պետք է տապալի Էրդողանին, հակառակ դեպքում` Թուրքիայում ներքին պատերազմ կծագի: Քանի դեռ Էրդողանը գահի վրա է` Մերձավոր Արեւելքում անհնար է խաղաղություն հաստատել:

Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի հասցեին նման հայտարարություն է արել չափավոր իսլամի թուրք քարոզիչ Ֆեթուլլահ Գյուլենը` Եգիպտոսի հեղինակավոր El Ğad հեռուստաալիքին տված հարցազրույցում:

«Արեւմուտքը պետք է միջամտի Թուրքիայի գործերին եւ տապալի իշխող «Արդարություն եւ զարգացում» կուսակցությանը: Արեւմուտքն անհապաղ պետք է միջամտի իրավիճակին եւ տապալի իշխանությունը Թուրքիայում», -ասել է նա:

Գյուլենը հայտնել է, որ եթե ԱՄՆ-ը համաձայնվի իրեն Թուրքիա արտահանձնելու Անկարայի հորդորներին, ապա ինքը կմեկնի Եգիպտոս: Գյուլենն ասել է, որ Թուրքիայում կոպտորեն խախտվում են մարդու իրավունքները:

Նրա խոսքով` Թուրքիայում ավելի ու ավելի է մեծանում քաղաքացիական պատերազմի վտանգը: Նա համոզմունք է հայտնել, որ քանի դեռ Էրդողանը գահի վրա է, Մերձավոր Արեւելքում անհնար է խաղաղության հասնել:

Հունիսի 15-ին մի խումբ խռովարարներ Թուրքիայում ռազմական հեղաշրջման փորձ են կազմակերպել: Թուրքիայի նախագահ Էրդողանի գլխավորությամբ իշխանությունները հեղաշրջման փորձ կազմակերպելու մեջ մեղադրել են գյուլենական համայնքին եւ ԱՄՆ-ում վտարանդի նրա ղեկավար Ֆեթուլլահ Գյուլենին:

Գյուլենը հերքել է հեղաշրջման փորձին իր մասնակցությունը` անվանելով այն հոլիվուդյան ֆիլմի սցենարով բեմականացում` Էրդողանի կողմից:

«Հիզմեթ Հարեքեթի» ազդեցիկ կրոնական կազմակերպության առաջնորդ  Ֆեթուլլահ Գյուլենի շարժումը, որը համարվում է նաեւ նուրսիստների (նուրչուլար) շարժում, արդի իսլամ քարոզող հզոր շարժում է: Գյուլենական շարժումը քարոզում է իսլամական չափավորություն, հանդուրժողականություն, միջկրոնական երկխոսություն, իսլամի եւ ժողովրդավարության համատեղելիություն:

Այժմ Էրդողանը փորձում է հասնել ԱՄՆ-ից Գյուլենի արտահանձնմանը, որտեղ նա բնակվում է 1998 թվականից: Գյուլենն, իր հերթին, դարձել է Էրդողանի առավել նշանակալից քննադատներից մեկը:

2014 թվականի դեկտեմբերին Ստամբուլի դատական իշխանությունները Գյուլենին ձերբակալելու հայտ են ներկայացրել` կապված Թուրքիայի գործող ղեկավարության եւ իշխող «Արդարութուն եւ զարգացում» կուսակցության դիրքերը խարխլելու համար ահաբեկչական կազմակերպություն ստեղծելու կասկածների հետ:
