«Հիշում եմ՝ իմ տաղանդավոր ավագ գործընկերներից մեկը, որը, ցավոք, հիմա մեզ հետ չէ, թերթում գրել էր, որ ատում է Լևոն Տեր–Պետրոսյանին՝ մասնավորապես, այն պատճառով, որ իր թոռը ծնվել է օտարության մեջ։ «Ատում եմ» բառը նա գրել էր մի քանի անգամ և մեծատառերով։ Ուժեղ էմոցիաներ արտահայտելու տեղն այն ժամանակ թերթերն էին, քանի որ Ֆեյսբուք և ընդհանրապես համացանց այն ժամանակ չկար։ Չգիտեմ, ում ինչպես, բայց ինձ թե 20 տարի առաջ, թե հիմա թվում է, որ լրատվամիջոցը բուռն հրճվանք կամ բուռն ատելություն արտահայտելու տեղ չի, որ ամեն մեկի և ամեն ինչի մասին կարելի է ասել ամեն ինչ, բայց առանց փրփրելու, առանց լացակումած հուզականության, առանց այն երևույթի, որը կոչվում է ատելության խոսք։

Իհարկե, ամեն մեկն ինքն Է որոշում իր անելիքը, բայց ատելության քարոզելու մեջ ես հոգեպես անառողջ բան եմ տեսնում, նաև վտանգավոր՝ ի վերջո, բումերանգ Է։ Ատելությունից կուրացած քաղաքացիները չեն կարեկցում այդ երկու շաբաթների ընթացքում սպանված և վիրավոր ոստիկանների ընտանիքներին, ատելությունից կատաղած ոստիկանները մտնում են մարդկանց տները՝ քաղաքացիներից վրեժ են լուծում, նռնակներ են շպրտում մարդկանց վրա, սադիստաբար ծեծում են լրագրողներին։ Կողմերը կոչ են անում ատել «անարդարներին», բայց իրենց՝ «արդարների» «մանր անհարթություններին» ըմբռնումով մոտենալ։ Իսկ երբ հրաժարվում ես որևէ մեկին ատել, ուրեմն «համ մեխին ես խփում, համ նալին»։ Բայց մարդը ոչ մեխ Է, ոչ նալ, մարդը մարդ Է»,–գրում է թերթի խմբագիրը։

Ամբողջությամբ՝ թերթի այսօրվա համարում։
