Սարի թաղում հուլիսի 29-ի երթի ժամանակ ծեծից ու ոստիկանական հատուկ միջոցներից տուժած լրագրողները իրենց հետ տեղի ունեցածը չեն մոռացել, իսկ երկրի նախագահից ոչ թե ներողություն էին ակնկալում, այլ իրավական քայլեր:

Ա1+ -ի լրագրող Ռոբերտ Անանյանը լուսաձայնային նռնակի պայթյունի հետևանքով ոտքերի և ձեռքի բեկորային վնասվածքներ է ստացել: Արդեն 5 օր հիվանդանոցում գտնվող լրագրողը դեռ անվասայլակով է տեղաշարժվում, և իր ձևակերպմամբ՝ հուզական հայտարարությունների կարիք չունի․ - «Ինձ ոչինչ չեն ասում այդ հուզական գնահատականները և խոստումները ապագայի վերաբերյալ: Տարիներ շարունակ ես և իմ լրագրող գործընկերները տեսնում ենք, որ բազմաթիվ են դեպքերը, երբ որ մեր գործընկերները բռնությունների են ենթարկվում, և որևէ մեկը պատասխանատվության չի ենթարկվում: Ես կանկալեի, որ Սերժ Սարգսյանը երաշխիքներ էդտեղ տար և իմ մյուս գործընկերներին, որ ձեր նկատմամբ բռնությունների իրականացնողները այն դեպքում, երբ բազմաթիվ են տեսանյութերը, հայտնի է, թե ովքեր են դրանք իրականացրել, պատժվելու են: Եվ այդ դեպքում Սերժ Սարգսյանի ներողությունը կլիներ ավելորդ»:

Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը երեկ՝ Ոստիկանության պարեկապահակային ծառայության գունդը գրաված խմբի հանձնվելուց հետո, անդրադառնալով ստեղծված իրավիճակին՝ ներողություն էր հայցել տուժած լրագրողներից՝ հավելելով․ - «Սա մեր ամենաէական բացթողումն էր այս օրերի ընթացքում: Բոլոր հետևությունները, անշուշտ, արվելու են: Ձեր ներողամտությունը հայցելով՝ միայն լրագրողներին, բայց ոչ իրավապահներին, խնդրում եմ մոռանալ այդ դեպքերի մասին, քանի որ իրոք վստահ եմ, որ այլևս նման բան չի կրկնվելու»:
