Երևանի Սարի թաղում հուլիսի 29-ին ոստիկանների և ցուցարարների միջև տեղի ունեցած բախումների ընթացքում աչքը կորցրած Սայաթ Հարությունյանը օգոստոսի 8-ին կդառա 17 տարեկան. նախորդ շաբաթ նա Գեղարքունիքի մարզից եկել էր Երևան՝ ծննդյան օրը նշելու համար հագուստ գնելու նպատակով և պատահաբար հայտվել Սարի թաղում։
Tert.am-ի հետ զրույցում 17-ամյա երիտասարդը դժվարությամբ հիշեց իր հետ կատարվածը: Նա ասաց, որ գնում էր Սարի թաղ՝ հորեղբոր տուն, պատահաբար ճանապարհին հայտնվել է ցուցարարների շարքերում. նույն ճանապարհով պիտի գնային։
«Պայթյուն է լինում: Պայթյունի ժամանակ աչքս եմ կորցնում»,-հիշեց Սայաթ Հարությունյանը՝ նշելով, որ աչքը կորցնելուց հետո ընկել է, սակայն խուճապի չի մատնվել, չի մտածել պատճառների մասին, անգամ չի ափսոսել:
«Հենց այդ պահին ինձ չկորցրի, մտածեցի, որ արդեն ինչ եղել, եղել է: Մտածեցի, որ պետք է արագ փախչել»,- ասաց երիտասարդը՝ հիշելով, որ իրեն անմիջապես օգնել է մի երիտասարդ բժիշկ՝ առաջին բուժօգնություն է ցուցաբերել մինչ շտապօգնության մեքենայի ժամանելը:
