ՀՀ սպորտի և երիտասարդության հարցերի նախարար Գաբրիել Ղազարյանը Վարչապետի շնորհակալագրեր է հանձնել հայազգի լեռնագնացներ Իռենա Խառազովային, Արա Խաչադուրյանին և Լևոն Սարկիսովին՝ լեռնագնացության ոլորտում ներդրած նշանակալի ավանդի և ունեցած ակնառու նվաճումների համար: Նախարարը ողջունել է հյուրերին և շնորհակալություն հայտնել հայ մարզիկներին հայկական լեռնագնացության անունն արտերկրում բարձր պահելու համար: Արա Խաչադուրյանն իր և գործընկերների անունից շնորհակալություն է հայտնել իրենց աշխատանքը գնահատելու և Վարչապետի շնորհակալագրերի արժանացնելու համար:

Հայազգի լեռնագնացները նվաճել են աշխարհի ամենաբարձր լեռնագագաթը՝ Էվերեստը: Ընդ որում Լևոն Սարկիսովն առաջին հայն է, որ նվաճել է Էվերեստը, իսկ Իռենա Խառազովան՝ առաջին հայ կին լեռնագնացն է, ում հաջողվել է լինել Էվերեստի գագաթին: Հայազգի մարզիկները Էվերեստի վրա ծածանել են ՀՀ և ԼՂՀ պետական դրոշները և իրենց նվաճումը նվիրել Հայոց մեծ եղեռնի 100-ամյակին:
