  1. Երբ կատուները «ժպտում» են, նրանք հատուկ շնչառական տեխնիկայով կարծես համտեսում են օդը: Այդպես նրանք կարող են նաև զգալ ձեր վախը:

  2. Սակայն կատուները չեն կարող համտեսել և զգալ քաղցրը:

  3. Կատուները կարող են ավելի շատ ձայներ արձակել, քան շները: Նրանք ճանաչում են իրենց տիրոջ ձայնը, սակայն շատ անգամներ ուղղակի անտեսում են իրենց տերերին:

  4. Կատուները սոված ժամանակ կարողանում են նմանակել երեխայի ձայներ: Նրանք գիտեն, որ երեխայի ձայնին մարդիկ ավելի շուտ կարձագանքեն: Խորամանկ են, այնպես չէ՞:

  9.  Կատուները չեն տեսնում ամբողջովին մութ տարածքում, սակայն նրանք կարող են տեսնել 7 անգամ ավելի մութ տեղում, քան մարդիկ:

  10. Կատուները սովորում են նմանակելով:

  11.  Կատուների անրակները միացած չեն այլ ոսկորների հետ: Դա է պատճառը, որ նրանք շատ ճկուն են և կարողանում են տեղավորվել փոքր տուփերի մեջ:

  12.  Մ.թ.ա. 3600 թվականին Եգիպտոսում արդեն կատուն տնային կենդանի էր և նրանց պահում էին՝ մկներ բռնելու համար:
