Մեզնից քչեր կիմանան, որ աշխարհում գոյություն ունեն մի շարք քաղաքներ, որոնք բնակիչների խիստ կարիք ունեն: Ուստի՝ իրենց տարածքում ապրելու ու աշխատելու համար քաղաքային իշխանությունները  պոտենցիալ բնակիչներին առաջարկում են գայթակղիչ վարձատրություն:

ԱՄՆ-ի ամենացրտաշունչ նահանգի բնակչության թիվը արագ տեմպերով կրճատվում է, ուստի՝ կառավարությունը ստեղծել է հատուկ ֆոնդ, որից գումար է հատկացնում բոլոր նրանց, ովքեր ցանկություն են հայտնում տեղափոխվել ու բնակություն հաստատել Ալյասկայում:

Իսպանիայի իշխանությունները  3.000 եվրո են առաջարկում յուրաքանչյուր ընտանիքի, որը ապրելու կտեղափոխվի կամաց-կամաց ամայացող գյուղը: Ի դեպ, իշխանությունները հավելյալ 3.000 եվրո են վճարում  Պոնգայում լույս աշխարհ եկած ամեն երեխայի համար:
