Երևանում տեղի է ունեցել Սարգիս Խաչատուրյանի ծննդյան 130-ամյակին նվիրված ցուցահանդես

Հայաստանի ազգային պատկերասրահում տեղի ունեցել Սարգիս Խաչատուրյանի ստեղծագործությունների ցուցահանդեսի բացումը: Ինչպես նշեց Հայաստանի ազգային պատկերասրահի ավագ գիտաշխատող Գոհար Չեմենյանը, այս ցուցահանդեսում առաջին անգամ ներկայացվել են նկարչի գեղանկարչական և գրաֆիկական աշխատանքներ, ինչպես նաև հնդկական և պարսկական ընդօրիակություններ:
«Մեր նպատակն է սփյուռքահայ նկարիչների աշխատանքները պարբերաբար ցուցադրել, որպեսզի մեր երիտասարդ սերունդը ծանոթանա արտասահմանում ապրած և ստեղծագործած հայ նկարիչներին:Սարգիս Խաչատուրյանի ստեղծագործությունները իրենց արժանի տեղն են գտել Եվրոպայի, Ամերիկայի և Հնդկաստանի զանազան թանգարաններում»,- ասաց Չեմենյանը: Նրա խոսքով՝ Խաչատուրյանի ստեղծագործությունները յուրահատուկ ոճ ունեն:
«Սարգիս Խաչատուրյանի նկարներին հատուկ է լույսով ողողված լինելը: Այդ լույսը ստեղծում է նրբերանգներ և գույներին տալիս է պայծառություն, որը բնորոշ է նրա ստեղծագործություններին»,-
Սարգիս Խաչատուրյանը ծնվել է 1886 թվականին: 1908-1911 թվականներին նկարիչը սովորել է Հռոմի Գեղարվեստի ակադեմիայում: 1916-1920 թվականներին նկարիչը ստեղծում է ավելի քան 500 բնանկար և գաղթականության թեմայով նկարներ: Դրանք ցուցադրվում են եվրոպական քաղաքներում՝ նպատակ ունենալով ներկայացնել հայ ժողովրդի ճակատագիրը:
1930-1933 թվականներին հայ նկարիչը ընդօրինակում է մոտ 150 որմնանկար, որոնք վկայում են Սեֆևյան դարաշրջանի արվեստում հայ նկարիչների վրձնի պատվավոր տեղի մասին:
1937-1940 թվականներին Հնդկաստանում նկարիչը ընդօրինակում է հնդկական որմնանկարների ց ավելի քան 100, դրանցից մի քանի տասնյակ գտնվում է աշխարհի տարբեր թանգարաններում, իսկ զգալի մասը՝ Հայաստանի ազգային պատկերասրահում:
