Եվս մեկ քաղաքագլուխ Է սպանվել Մեքսիկայի հարավում: Informador-ի տվյալներով՝ զինված գրոհայինները հարձակվել են Պունգարաբատո քաղաքի (Գեռերոյի նահանգ) քաղաքագլուխ Ամբրոսիո Սոտո Դուարտեի ավտոմոբիլի վրա: Միջադեպը տեղի Է ունեցել հարեւան Միչոականի նահանգում:

Հաղորդվում Է, որ հարձակման հետեւանքով վիրավորվել են ոստիկանության երկու աշխատակիցներ, որոնց կարգել Էին Սոտոյին պաշտպանելու համար: Ավելի վաղ քաղաքագլուխն սպառնալիքներ Էր ստանում տեղի թմրակարտելի անդամներից:  

Հուլիսի 23-ին հնդկացիական Սան Խուան Չամուլա քաղաքի (Չյապասի նահանգ) վարչակազմի ղեկավարն սպանվել Է վրդովված քաղաքացիների կողմից, որոնք քաղաքապետական Էին եկել՝ բողոքելով  իշխանությունների ֆինանսական գործերի առիթով: Այդ ժամանակ փոխհրաձգության հետեւանքով հինգ մարդ Է զոհվել, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
