Օբաման ԱՄՆ-ի Կոնգրեսին հղած նամակում խոստացել Է շարունակել տնտեսական ճնշումը Իրանի վրա

ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ Բարաք Օբաման մտադիր Է Իրանի վրա գործադրվող տնտեսական ճնշումը շարունակել նաեւ այն բանից հետո, երբ Իսլամական Հանրապետության միջուկային խնդրի կարգավորման շուրջ գործարքը հավանության արժանանա Միացյալ Նահանգների Կոնգրեսի կողմից: Ընդսմին Սպիտակ տան ղեկավարը նաեւ չի բացառում Թեհրանի դեմ ռազմական ուժի կիրառումը , եթե նա խախտի համաձայնագիրը: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հղում անելով New York Times թերթին, ԱՄՆ-ի ղեկավարը հայտարարել Է Կոնգրեսին ուղարկված նամակում:
Հրատարակության տվյալներով, որին հաջողվել Է ծանոթանալ օգոստոսի 19-ով թվագրված փաստաթղթին, այն հասցեագրված Է Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի անդամ Ջերոլդ Նեդլերին (դեմոկրատ, Նյու Յորքի նահանգից), բայց նաեւ ուղղված Է Դեմոկրատական կուսակցությանը պատկանող մյուս կոնգրեսականներին ու սենատորներին, որոնք առայժմ չեն հստակեցրել՝ պատրաստ են իրենք արդյոք պաշտպանել Իրանի հետ կնքված պայմանավորվածությունները:
Այն դեպքում, եթե Իրանը վերսկսի միջուկային զենք ստանալու փորձերը, ԱՄՆ-ի տրամադրության տակ եղած բոլոր տարբերակները, ներառյալ ռազմական, կիրառելի կլինեն ինչպես գործարքի գործողության ընթացքում, այնպես Էլ դրանից հետո»,-ասված Է նամակում:
Իր ուղերձում Օբաման նաեւ խոստանում Է «ավելացնել Իսրայելի հակահրթիռային պաշտպանության ֆինանսավորումը» եւ «ուժեղացնել համագործակցությունն Իսրայելի եւ Պարսից ծոցի դաշնակից երկրների հետ՝ դիմակայելու Եմենի իրադրությունն ապակայունացնելու Իրանի փորձերին»:
Նախագահը նաեւ հավաստել Է, որ մտադիր Է ուժի մեջ թողնել «Թեհրանի կողմից Լիբանանում «Հըզբոլլահ» խմբավորման «եւ Սիրիայում Բաշար Ասադի կառավարության աջակցման» կապակցությամբ Իրանի նկատմամբ սահմանված բոլոր պատժամիջոցները:
Ինչպես նշում Է թերթը, Սպիտակ տան ղեկավարն իր նամակում հերթական անգամ հավաստիացրել Է Կոնգրեսի անդամներին, թե այն դեպքում, եթե Իրանը չկատարի միջուկային ծրագրի շուրջ ձեռք բերված համաձայնագրի պայմանները, ԱՄՆ-ը կկարողանա «աստիճանաբար վերականգնել» Իսլամական Հանրապետության նկատմամբ բոլոր այն սահմանափակիչ միջոցները, որոնք Օբաման ցանկանում Է չեղարկել:
Օբաման ավելի վաղ արդեն քանիցս նախազգուշացրել Է, որ թույլ չի տա Կոնգրեսի կողմից գործարքի մերժումը եւ պատրաստ Է այդ նպատակով օգտվել վետոյի իր իրավունքից: Վետոն պահպանելու համար ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահին հարկավոր կլինի ստանալ կամ 146 կոնգրեսականների, կամ 34 սենատորների ձայները: Մինչդեռ Իրանի հետ համաձայնագրին իրենց աջակցության մասին առայժմ 60-ից պակաս դեմոկրատներ են հայտարարել Ներկայացուցիչների պալատում եւ միայն 26-ը՝ Սենատում: Որքան հայտնի Է, հանրապետականներից ոչ մեկը չի հայտարարել գործարքի օգտին քվեարկելու պատրաստակամության մասին, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ գործակալությունը:
