Էրդողանը Թուրքիայում մահապատժի վերականգնումը թողել է խորհրդարանի որոշմանը

Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը հայտարարել է, որ երկրում մահապատժի վերականգնման մասին հարցով կպահանջվի խորհրդարանի որոշումը:
«Պատգամավորները պետք է հավաքվեն եւ քննարկեն դա: Ես, որպես նախագահ, հավանության կարժանացնեմ ցանկացած որոշում, որը կընդունվի խորհրդարան կողմից»,- CNN հեռուստաալիքին տված հարցազրույցում հայտարարել է Թուրքիայի նախագահը:
Էրդողանը նաև նշել է, որ թուրք ժողովուրդը մահապատիժ է պահանջում նրանց համար, ով ներգրավվել է երկրում հեղաշրջման փորձի մեջ:
«Մարդիկ գտնում են, որ ահաբեկիչները պետք է սպանվեն…Ինչու ես պետք է պահեմ եւ կերակրեմ նրանց բանտերում հետագա տարիներին, ահա՛, ինչ է ասում ժողովուրդը»,- ասել է Էրդողանը` մեկնաբանելով ձախողված հեղաշրջման հրահրիչների նկատմամբ մահապատիժ կիրառելու մարդկանց կոչերը:
Հիշեցնենք, որ Եվրամիության ղեկավարությունը հայտարարել է, որ եթե Թուրքիան վերականգնի մահապատիժը, ապա այդ երկրի ԵՄ անդամակացության գործընթացը կդադարեցվի:
Հուլիսի 15-ի երեկոյան զինվորականների խումբը Թուրքիայում պետական հեղաշրջման փորձ է ձեռնարկել: Հեղաշրջման փորձ կատարած զինվորականներն իրենց հսկողության տակ էին առել մի շարք ռազմավարական օբյեկտներ Անկարայում եւ Ստամբուլում, բայց մի քանի ժամ հետո խռովությունը ճնշվել է:
Թուրքական իրավապահ մարմիններն արդեն ձերբակալել են մոտ 8 հազար մարդու, որոնցից 103-ից ավելին գեներալներ եւ ծովակալներ, բերման են ենթարկվել 2 հազար 745 դատավորներ եւ դատախազներ: Վերջին տեղեկություններով` սպանվել է 290 մարդ, մոտ 1440 մարդ վիրավորվել է:
