Հայաստանում տեղակայված Ռուսաստանի անվտանգության դաշնային ծառայության սահմանապահ ստորաբաժանումներն անցել են Հայաստան-Թուրքիա սահմանի ուժեղացված հսկողության: Այս «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՌԴ ԱԴԾ սահմանապահ ծառայության մամուլի բաժնից: Ռուս սահմանապահներն իրենց հա յ գործընկերների հետ համատեղ իրականացնում են Թուրքիայի և Իրանի հետ Հայաստանի սահմանների պահպանությունը, ինչպես նաև ծառայություն են իրականացնում «Զվարթնոց» օդանավակայանում: Հայ-թուրքական սահմանի երկարությունը 345 մետր է:

Թուրքիայում ձախողված հեղաշրջմանժամանակ տարբեր քաղաքներում սկսվածբախումների հետևանքով զոհվել է 194մարդ(հեղաշրջման փորձի 104 մասնակից,իշխանամետ 90 մարդ): Վիրավորների թիվըհասնում է 1154-ի: Թուրքիայի արդարադատության նախարար Բեքիր Բոզդաղը հայտարարել է հեղաշրջման փորձի համար ողջ երկրում ձ երբակալվել է թուրքական զինված ուժերի 1563 անդամ, 5 գեներալ, 29 գնդապետ ազատվել են պաշտոնից: Իսկ երկրի վարչապետ Բինալի Յըլդըրըմը հայտարարել է, որ գործողությունների ընթացքում սպանվել է հեղաշրջման կողմնակից գեներալներից մեկը:Թուրքիայում տեղի ունեցած իրադարձությունների ժամանակ ՀՀ քաղաքացիներ կամ հայեր չեն տուժել։ Թուրքիայի մայրաքաղաքԱնկարայում հուլիսի 15-ի գիշերը հրաձգություն է սկսվել, քաղաքի վրայով ռազմական ուղղաթիռներն ու ինքնաթիռները թռիչքներեն իրագործել, երկրի վարչապետ Բինալի Յըլդըրըմը հայտարարել է, որ Թուրքիայում ռազմական հեղաշրջման փորձ է կատարվել:
