«Օրերս մոլեգնած քամին վնաս Էր հասցրել ոչ միայն գյուղատնտեսությանը, բազմաթիվ շենք-շինություններին, այլ նաև   գերեզմանատներին։

Երևանի կենտրոնական գերեզմանատանը (Թոխմախի) ուժգին քամու հետևանքով վնասվել են մոտ 40-ից ավելի գերեզմանաքարեր, խաչաքարեր, տապանաքարեր են շրջվել, պոկվել են ծառերի ճյուղեր։ Գերեզմանատան աշխատողներից մեկը մեզ տեղեկացրեց, որ տեղահան եղած գերեզմանաքարերի վերականգնման աշխատանքներով զբաղվում են ազգականները, մտերիմները։ Իրենք ևս սեփական ուժերով փորձում են վերականգնել այն շիրմաքարերը, որոնց վերականգնումը հավելյալ ջանք չի պահանջում։ Մեր այցելության ժամանակ գերեզմանատուն Էին այցելել   հանգուցյալներից մեկի ազգականները, որոնց գերեզմանաքարը նույնպես տուժել Էր ուժեղ քամուց։ Նրանք դիմել են գերեզմանաքարը տեղագրած վարպետին և պահանջել, որ կամ փոխհատուցի վնասը, կամ Էլ վերականգնի գերեզմանաքարը, վերջինս Էլ պատասխանել Է, որ շատ մարդ Է այդ հարցով դիմել, այժմ ոչինչ չի կարող անել։ Կանանցից մեկն ասաց, որ այսուհետ գերեզմանաքար պատվիիելու դեպքում պայմանագիր են կնքելու՝ այսպիսի դեպքերում խնդիրներից խուսափելու համար։ Գերեզմանատան աշխատակիցը մեզ հետ զրույցում Նշեց, որ վերջին 10 տարում նման բան չէր տեսել, սա առաջին դեպքն է, երբ քամին գերեզմանաքարը տապալել է գետնին, կտոր-կտոր արել»,–գրում է թերթը։
