«Ժողովուրդ» թերթը գրում է. «Դեռեւս անցած տարվա սեպտեմբերի 3-ին Սերժ Սարգսյանն իր նստավայրում ընդունել էր ՀՀ ԱԺ մեծամասնական ընտրակարգով ընտրված մի շարք պատգամավորների, որոնք փաստացի ոչ մի խմբակցությունում ընդգրկված չեն: Այդ հանդիպումը կազմակերպվել էր սահմանադրական փոփոխությունների շուրջ քաղաքական ուժերի հետ խորհրդակցությունների շրջանակներում:
«Ժողովուրդ»-ի տեղեկություններով՝ այդ հանդիպման ժամանակ պատգամավորները փորձել են Սերժ Սարգսյանից պարզել, թե նա ինչպես է պատկերացնում իրենց քաղաքական հետագա ճակատագիրը: Ի պատասխան՝ Սարգսյանը բոլորին պատասխանել է, թե՝ կասեմ:
