Ավստրիայի Ամշթետեն քաղաքում կայացել է Հայոց ցեղասպանությանը նվիրված գիտաժողով

Ստորին Ավստրիայի կառավարության հովանու ներքո հուլիսի 4-6-ը Ամշթետեն քաղաքում անցկացվել է «Անորոշ ուղիներ. փախուստ, վտարում և ցեղասպանություն Առաջին աշխարհամարտի օրերին» խորագրով գիտաժողով, որը կազմակերպել էր ավստրիական Գրաց քաղաքի՝ Պատերազմների հետևանքների վերացման Բոլցմանի ինստիտուտն` ավստրիական Սենթ-Փ ոլթեն քաղաքի Միգրացիայի ուսումնասիրության կենտրոնի հետ։ Միջոցառմանը մասնակցում էին Ստորին Ավստրիայի կառավարության ներկայացուցիչներ, դաշնային ու տեղական խորհրդարանների անդամներ, Ավստրիայում հավատարմագրված դիվանագիտական առաքելությունների և միջազգային կազմակերպությունների, ավստրիական քաղաքական, գիտակրթական ոլորտի ներկայացուցիչներ։
Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից, Գիտաժողովի մասնակիցներին ուղղված իր ողջույնի խոսքում Ավստրիայում ՀՀ դեսպան Արման Կիրակոսյանը անդրադարձել է 20-րդ դարում իրականացված բազմաթիվ ցեղասպանություններին և մարդկության դեմ իրագործված ոճրագործություններին՝ առանձնահատուկ շեշտելով նաև մեր օրերին ազգային ու կրոնական պատկանելիության հողի վրա իրականացվող հանցագործությունները։ Հաղորդագրության մեջ նաև նշված է. &laqu o;Դեսպան Կիրակոսյանը ներկայացրեց նաև Ավստրիայի և Գերմանիայի խորհրդարանների կողմից Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչումը՝ ընդգծելով Առաջին աշխարհամարտի ժամանակ Օսմանյան կայսրության դաշնակիցների իրավահաջորդների հանդիսացող այդ երկրների կողմից սեփական պատմությանն առերեսումը կարևորելը:
Քննարկումներին որպես բանախոս հանդես եկավ Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարան-ինստիտուտի տնօրեն Հայկ Դեմոյանը՝ «Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը եվրոպական հիշողության մեջ» զեկույցով, որի հիմքում ընկած էին հայերի՝ երիտթուրքերի կառավարության կողմից ծրագրված և իրագործված զանգվածային ջարդերի վերաբերյալ եվրոպացի հումանիստների հուշերը, որոնցից են Ֆրիտյոֆ Նանսենը, Քարին Էփփեն, Յոհաննես Լեփսիուսը: Հայկ Դեմոյանը նաև անդրադարձ կատարեց եվրոպական կառավարությունների, մարդասիրական կազմակերպությունների, անհատների կողմից հայերին բնաջնջումից փրկելո ւն ուղղված ջանքերին և փրկվածներին ցուցաբերած օգնությանը։
Որպես բանախոսներ հանդես եկան նաև Ավստրիայի, եվրոպական և այլ երկրների գիտահետազոտական կենտրոնների գիտաշխատողներ, ովքեր քննարկեցին Օսմանյան Թուրքիայում բնաջնջված մյուս ազգերի՝ ասորիների, հույների, կրոնական փոքրամասնությունների ճակատագիրը»:
