Հուլիսի 6-ին ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Սեյրան Օհանյանը հանդիպեց «Հայ Բարեգործական Ընդհանուր Միության» (ՀԲԸՄ) ուսանողական ծրագրով Հայաստան ժամանած սփյուռքահայ երիտասարդների հետ: Ողջունելով հյուրերին ՀՀ ՊՆ վարչական համալիրում, Սեյրան Օհանյանը կարևորել է ՀԲԸՄ-ի հետ համագործակցությունը՝ շեշտելով, որ մեծ ներդրում և գործունեություն ծավալող կառույցը դարձել է ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարության կարևոր գործընկերներից մեկը:
«Իր գործունեության ողջ ժամանակահատվածում ՀԲԸՄ-ն տարբեր ծրագրեր, միջոցառումներ է իրականացրել, որոնք ուղղված են եղել Հայաստանի Հանրապետության շենացմանը: Հատկապես կարևոր են Հայաստանի սահմանամերձ գյուղերում և Արցախում իրականացվող ծրագրերը: Այդ ծրագրերի արդյունքը նկատում է նաև սահմանին կանգնած զինվորը: Փաստը, որ երկիրը շենացվում է, կառուցվում՝ պարտավորեցնում է զինվորին, որ ավելի լավ տանի ծառայությունը, հետևի անվտանգության ապահովմանը»,- ասել է Սեյրան Օհանյանը՝ հավելելով, որ հայրենիքի առջև ծառացած խնդիրները հնարավոր կլինի իրականացնել միայն համատեղ ջանքերով:
Այս համատեքստում պաշտպանական գերատեսչության ղեկավարը կարևորել է բանակ-հասարակություն կապի ամրապնդումը, որի գրավականը ժողովրդի առջև բաց լինելն է: ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարը ոգևորիչ և ուշագրավ է համարել նաև փաստը, որ հատկապես վերջին տարիներին աշխարհի տարբեր երկրներում ապրող հայ երիտասարդները հետաքրքրված են հայկական զինված ուժերով և ցանկություն են հայտնում ծանոթանալ ինչպես բանակի առօրյա կյանքին, այնպես էլ այն խնդիրներին, որոնք իրականացնում է հայ զինվորը:
Այս առումով, համագործակցելով տարբեր կառույցների հետ, պաշտպանության նախարարությունն իրականացնում է միջոցառումներ, որոնց շնորհիվ ավելի է ամրապնդվում երիտասարդների կապը զինված ուժերի հետ: Պաշտպանության նախարարը պատասխանել է նաև սփյուռքահայ երիտասարդներին հետաքրքրող հարցերին:
