2012թ.-ն էր, երբ պիցցայի, չիպսի և քաղցրավենիքի սիրահար Քլոե Դոդսը, ով ինքնատիպ սննդակարգի շնորհիվ հասցրել էր 137 կգ քաշ հավաքել (այն էլ՝ 160 սմ հասակի պարագայում), 30-րդ համարի հսկայական զգեստը հագին պսակադրության արարողության ներկայացավ: Ընդ որում, հարսանեկան զգեստն էլ Միացյալ Նահանգներից էր պատվիրել, քանի որ Մեծ Բրիտանիայում առավելագույնը 20-րդ համարի կարելի էր գտնել:

Քիչ անց, փողոցում լուսանկարվելիս, հարսանեկան արարողությունն իսկական ծաղրուծանակի վերածվեց Քլոեի համար: Անցորդները ուշադիր նայում էին նրան և ասում, որ չափազանց գեր է ու տոնական զգեստով էլ սարսափելի տեսք ունի:

Ի վերջո այդ մեկնաբանությունները արցունքներ բերեցին կնոջ աչքերին՝ հարսնացուին հանգստացնելու համար նշանակված արարողությունները ստիպված էին 15 րոպեով հետաձգել:

«Այդ բոլոր մեկնաբանությունները ինքնասիրությանս վրա շատ ազդեցին: Մարդիկ հարսանիքիս օրն անգամ քննադատում էին ինձ: Ճիշտ է՝ այդչափ գեր հարսանացու ամեն քայլափոխի չես տեսնի, բայց մի՞թե արժանի էի ծաղրուծանակի: Մինչ այդ կարծում էի, թե չգրված օրենք կա, թե հարսնացուին, անկախ ամեն ինչից, միշտ սիրալիր խոսքեր են ասում», – պատմել է Քլոեն:

Արարողության ավարտից հետո հարսնացուն պարկանման զգեստ է հագել և ինքն իրեն խոստացել, որ այսուհետ փոխելու է կյանքն ու արտաքինը: Կարճ ժամանակ անց բժշկին այցելության էր գնացել, պատմել քաշի հետ կոպված բոլոր խնդիրների մասին և հետաքրքրվել, թե արդյոք կարող է ստամոքսի բանդաժավորման ենթարկվել. դիետան և քաշի կորստին միտված դեղամիջոցներն այլևս չեն օգնում: Բժիշկը պատասխանել էր, թե նախքան վիրահատությունը պետք է մոտավորապես 23 կգ քաշից ազատվի:

Շաքարախտով հիվանդ և այլ բարդություններով տառապող Քլոեն 2 տարի համառ պայքար է մղել՝ հիշյալ կիլոգրամներից ազատվելու համար: Հետո էլ, վերջապես, ստամոքսի բանդաժավորման փուլն է թևակոխել և հիմա, վիրահատությունից 1 տարի անց, ընդամենը 69 կգ է կշռում՝ երկու անգամ ավելի քիչ, քան հարսանիքի օրն էր:

Հագուստն էլ, 30-ի փոխարեն, 12-րդ համարի է կրում: «Արդեն ֆիզիկապես չեմ կարող շատ սնվել, թեև չեմ էլ ուզում: Նախաճաշին մեկ ձու եմ ուտում, ճաշին` մեկ բաժին կարտոֆիլ, ընթրիքին էլ՝ նույնը՝ մսի հետ», – նշել է Քլոեն:

Ավելորդ քաշից՝ գրեթե 70 կգ-ից ազատվելուց հետո Քլոեի ձեռքերին և որովայնին մեծ ծավալի ավելորդ մաշկ է կուտակվել: Կինը ներկայումս գումար է հավաքում՝ դրանք էլ վիրահատությամբ հեռացնելու համար: Նախ պետք է ձեռքերը «ուղղի», այնուհետև էլ, երեխաներ ունենալուց հետո, որովայնը:

«Թեւ ծաղրուծանակի պատճառով հարսանիքս փչացրին, բայց դե ծիծաղում է նա, ով վերջում է ծիծաղում: Վերջապես դարձա այնպիսին, ինչպիսին միշտ ցանկացել եմ լինել», – ամփոփել է Քլոեն:
