«Գելափ Ինթերնեյշնլի» Հայաստանի ներկայացուցչությունը հրապարակել է մայիսին անցկացված մի հարցման արդյունքներ, որի համաձայն՝ հարցվածների 25 տոկոսը կարծում է, որ վերջին 5 տարիներին Հայաստանում կյանքը զգալիորեն վատացել է, 36,4 տոկոսը կարծում է, որ մասամբ է վատացել, 24 տոկոսը կարծում է, որ մնացել է նույնը, 7,4 տոկոսը կարծում է, որ կյանքը լավացել է, և միայն 0,7 տոկոսն է կարծում, որ վերջին 5 տարիներին Հայաստանում կյանքը զգալիորեն լավացել է:
Հարցումների արդյունքները ցույց են տվել նաև, որ Հայաստանում քչերն են բավարարված իրենց կյանքից. հարցին՝ ընդհանուր առմամբ բավարարվա՞ծ եք ձեր կյանքից, հարցվածների 8 տոկոսը պատասխանել է, որ լիովին բավարարված է, 49.4 տոկոսը՝ ավելի շուտ բավարարված է, 27.6 տոկոսը՝ ավելի շուտ բավարարված չէ, 14.9 տոկոսը՝ ընդհանրապես բավարարված չէ: Այս հարցումը որևէ նորություն չի բացահայտել, այլ ընդամենը թվային տվյալներով ցույց է տվել այն, ինչ հայտնի է բոլորին՝ Հայաստանում կյանքի պայմանները, կյանքի որակը, մեղմ ասած, հեռու են մարդու համար բավարար լինելուց:
Եվ պատահական չէ, որ հարցվածների ընդամենը 7.4 տոկոսն է կարծում, որ Հայաստանում վերջին հինգ տարիներին կյանքը լավացել է, և միայն 0.7 տոկոսն է կարծում, որ կյանքը լավացել է էականորեն, իսկ կյանքից էլ բավարարված է միայն 8 տոկոսը: Հասարակության մոտավորապես այդքան հատվածն այս կամ այն չափով, ուղղակիորեն կամ անուղղակիորեն կապված է իշխանական, տնտեսական վերնախավի հետ, իսկ վերջիններիս կյանքը, քաղաքացիների կյանքի վատացմանը հակադարձ համեմատական կերպով, անշեղորեն բարելավվում է:
Մյուսների համար կյանքի որակը հեռու է բավարար լինելուց, ավելի շատերի համար՝ այն անտանելի է: Մեծամասնության համար կյանքի որակը՝ նյութական և ոչ նյութական բաղադրիչներով, այնպիսին է, որ ստիպում է եթե ոչ՝ գործնական քայլեր ձեռնարկել, ապա՝ առնվազն մտածել Հայաստանից հեռանալու մասին: Արտագաղթն իրականում արտահայտվում է ոչ միայն ֆիզիկապես երկիրը լքելու տեսքով, այլև հոգեբանորեն, արտահայտվում է այն պահից, երբ մարդը սկսում է մտածել այդ մասին:
