Հայաստանն ու ՄԱԿ-ը գոհ են ՄԻՊ աշխատակազմում Երեխաների իրավունքների պաշտպանության բաժնի ստեղծումից

Ժնեւում հունիսի 30-ին ՀՀ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան Արման Թաթոյանը հանդիպել է ՄԱԿ-ի Մանկական հիմնադրամի Կենտրոնական եւ Արեւելյան Եվրոպայի եւ Անկախ Պետությունների Համագործակցության գրասենյակի տնօրեն Մարի-Պիեր Պոիրերին: Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՄԻՊ աշխատակազմից, հանդիպման ընթացքում կողմերը կարեւորել են երեխաների իրավունքների պաշտպանության հարցում Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի կողմից կանխարգելիչ ակտիվ գործունեության իրականացումը: Մասնավորապես, քննարկվել են փակ հաստատություններում անչափահասների պահման պայմանների շարունակական բարելավման, այդ վայրեր մոնիտորինգային այցեր իրականացնելու եւ դրանց արդյունքում համապատասխան առաջարկներ ձեւավորելու հետ կապված հարցեր՝ ՄԱԿ-ի Մանկական հիմնադրամի հետ համագործակցության համատեքստում: Կարեւորվել է նաեւ երեխայի լավագույն շահի հայեցակարգի հիման վրա գործելը:
Կողմերը հատուկ ընդգծել են Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի աշխատակազմում ՄԱԿ-ի հանձնարարականների հիման վրա Երեխաների իրավունքների պաշտպանության բաժնի ստեղծումը սույն թվականի հունիսին: Այդ բաժնի ստեղծումը հնարավորություն կտա առավել արդյունավետ գործունեություն ծավալել, ինչպես նաեւ առավել ակտիվ ինտեգրվել երեխաների իրավունքների պաշտպանության ոլորտում գործող միջազգային կառույցների աշխատանքներին:
Արման Թաթոյանը կարեւորել է համագործակցության բարձր մակարդակը ՄԱԿ-ի Մանկական հիմնադրամի հայաստանյանի գրասենյակի հետ:
Մասնավորապես, նշվել է Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի աշխատակազմի կարողությունների շարունակական զարգացմանն ուղղված ծրագրեր իրականացնելու անհրաժեշտությունը: Կարեւորվել է նաեւ աշխատանքը հասարակական կազմակերպությունների, ինչպես նաեւ լրատվության միջոցների ներկայացուցիչների հետ: Կողմերը պայմանավորվել են շարունակել ակտիվ համագործակցությունը՝ համատեղ միջոցառումներ կազմակերպելու, դրանց կողմերի ներկայացուցիչների մասնակցությունն ապահովելու, երեխաների իրավունքների պաշտպանության հարցերում համագործակցված ուսումնասիրություններ կատարելու ու իրավունքների խախտումների վերացմանն ուղղված առաջարկներ ներկայացնելու միջոցով:
