Հռոմի պապը Ադրբեջան կայցելի «խաղաղության հույսն ու ուղիները խրախուսելու» համար

Հռոմի Ֆրանցիսկոս պապը 2016 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 30-ից հոկտեմբերի 2-ը կայցելի Վրաստան եւ Ադրբեջան:
Այս մասին Հռոմի պապը հայտարարել է Հայաստանից վերադարձից հետո Վատիկանում ունեցած ելույթում:
Նա նշել է, որ այդ երկու երկրներ այցի հրավերն ընդունել է երկու պատճառով:
«Առաջինը՝ այդ հողերում առկա վաղնջական քրիստոնեական արմատները մշտապես այլ կրոնների եւ մշակույթների հետ երկխոսության ոգի են», -հայտարարել է նա:
Որպես երկրորդ պատճառ նա նշել է «խաղաղության հույսի եւ ուղիների խրախուսումը»:
«Պատմությունը մեզ սովորեցնում է, որ խաղաղության ուղին իրար հանդեպ քչից սկսած եւ աստիճանաբար մեծացող մեծ համառություն եւ մշտական քայլեր է պահանջում: Այդ պատճառով իմ ցանկությունն այն է, որպեսզի յուրաքանչյուր մարդ իր ներդրումը բերի հաշտության մեջ», -հայտարարել է Հռոմի պապը:
Ֆրանցիսկոս պապը Հայաստան է ժամանել հունիսի 24-ին` «Այց առաջին քրիստոնեական երկիր» խորագրով: Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնում մասնակցել է Բարիգալստյան Հրաշափառի արարողությանը: Պապը հյուրընկալվել է ՀՀ նախագահի նստավայրում, առանձնազրույց ունեցել նրա հետ, ելույթ ունեցել ՀՀ իշխանությունների, հասարակության, դիվանագիտական կորպուսի ներկայացուցիչների հետ հանդիպմանը:
Հունիսի այցելել է Ծիծեռնակաբերդ՝ Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակին նվիրված հուշահամալիր: Նույն օրը Պապը Գյումրիում պատարագ է մատուցել լատինական ծեսով`համեմված հայկական շարականներով: Երեկոյան Երևանի Հանրապետության հրապարակում Հռոմի Ֆրանցիսկոս պապի և Ամենայն Հայոց կաթողիկոս Գարեգին Երկրորդի մասնակցությամբ տեղի է ունեցել խաղաղության աղոթք և էկումենիկ արարողություն:
Հունիսի 26-ի առավոտյան Մայր Աթոռի Սուրբ Տրդատ բաց խորանում մատուցվել է Սուրբ պատարագ` Ամենայն Հայոց Գարեգին Բ կաթողիկոսի ձեռամբ և Սրբազան քահանայապետի աղոթակցությամբ: Մայր Աթոռ Սբ Էջմիածնում ստորագրվել է համատեղ հայտարարություն, որից հետո Սրբազան քահանայապետը և Ամենայն Հայոց Գարեգին Բ կաթողիկոսը այցելել են նաև հայ ժողովրդի և Հայ Առաքելական Սուրբ եկեղեցու համար կարևորագույն սրբավայրերից մեկը՝ Խոր Վիրապ: Այնտեղ միասին աղոթելուց հետո նրանք աղավնիներ են բաց թողել Արարատի ուղղությամբ: Նույն օրը Ֆրանցիսկոս պապը մեկնեց Վատիկան:
