Եվրամիությունը հավաստեց, որ Մեծ Բրիտանիային զիջումներ չեն արվելու

 Եվրամիության ղեկավարները նախազգուշացրել են Մեծ Բրիտանիայիմ, որ եթե նա ցանկանում է ապագայում ազատ մուտք ունենալ միասնական եվրոպական շուկա, ապա նա պետք է հարգի Եվրոպայում ազատ տեղաշարժի սկզբունքը:

Եվրախորհրդի նախագահ Դոնալդ Տուսկն ասել է, որ Բրիտանիան չի կարող ընտրել եվրոպական շուկա մուտքի պայմանները, տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով BBC-ին:

Ֆրանսիայի եւ Գերմանիայի ղեկավարները նույնպես պարզորոշ հասկանալ են տվել, որ ազատ տեղաշարժման սկզբունքը քննարկման ենթակա չէ:

Հունիսի 29-ին ԵՄ-ի գագաթնաժողովի երկրորդ օրվա քննարկումներին չեն մասնակցել Մեծ Բրիտանիայի ներկայացուցիչները, որի քաղաքացիներն անցած շաբաթ քվեարկել են ԵՄ-ից դուրս գալու օգտին: Առանց Լոնդոնի ԵՄ-ի գագաթնաժողովը կայացել է քառասուն տարվա ընթացքում առաջին անգամ:

Եվրահանձնաժողովի նախագահ Ժան Կլոդ Յունկերի խոսքով՝ Մեծ Բրիտանիայի նկատմամբ «ոչ մի կարգի նյուանսներ չեն լինի»:

Եվրամիության երկրների ղեկավարները մտադիր են առանց Բրիտանիայի հերթական անգամ հանդիպել սեպտեմբերի 16-ին Բրատիսլավայում:

ԵՄ-ի 27 երկրների ղեկավարների հայտարարության մեջ ասվում է, թե նրանք հուսով են, որ Մեծ Բրիտանիան կմնա Եվրամիության ակտիվ գործընկերը, եւ որ իրենք «Միացյալ Թագավորությունից առաջարկություններ են ակնկալում այդ հարցի վերաբերյալ»:

Մինչ այդ Շոտլանդիայի առաջին նախարար Նիկոլա Ստերջենը Բրյուսելում բանակցություններ է վարել ԵՄ-ի ներկայացուցիչների, այդ թվում՝ Եվրահանձնաժողովի նախագահ Ժան Կլոդ Յունկերի հետ: Շոտլանդացի ընտրողները քվեարկել են ԵՄ-ի կազմում մնալու օգտին:

Ստերջենն ասել է, որ ԵՄ-ն ըմբռնումով է վերաբերվել իր դիրքորոշմանը եւ հավելել է, որ եթե հնարավորություն կա Շոտլանդիան պահել Եվրամիության կազմում, ապա ինքն այն կգտնի:

Ավելի վաղ Յունկերն ասել է, որ Շոտլանդիան վաստակել է այն բանի իրավունքը, որ նրա ձայնը լսելի լինի, բայց հավելել է, որ ԵՄ-ն չի ցանկանում միջամտել Մեծ Բրիտանիայի ներքին գործերին:

Ֆրանսիայի նախագահը եւ Իսպանիայի վարչապետն արդեն ասել են, որ դեմ են ԵՄ-ին Շոտլանդիայի անդամակցության հարցի շուրջ Բրյուսելի եւ այդ երկրի միջեւ բանակցություններին:
