Այս քանդակների տեղադրման իմաստի մասին հավանաբար մտածում է ամեն մի զբոսաշրջիկ, ով բախտ է ունեցել դրանք տեսնել: Ընդ որում՝ դա բնավ զարմանալի չէ: Չէ՞ որ բացի ահռելի չափեր ունենալուց, դրանք ընդհանրապես չեն ներդաշնակվում շրջակա միջավայրի հետ:

Լողորդը, Լոնդոն

Discovery հեռուստաալիքի համար Թեմզա գետի ափին կառուցեցին ահա այսպիսի 14-մետրանոց կոմպոզիցիա:

Լողորդը, Համբուրգ

Ալստեր լճի կենտրոնում տեղի կոսմետիկ ընկերությունների ջանքերով կառուցվեց լողորդի 30-մետրանոց քանդակը: Հսկայական շիկահերը կարծես լոգանք է ընդունում: Այն անցորդներին ու զբոսաշրջիկներին զարմացրեց շատ կարճ ժամանակով՝ ընդամենը մեկուկես շաբաթ:



Լվացքասեղմակ, Ֆիլադելֆիա

15-մետրանոց կառույցը ստեղծվել է 1976 թվականին քանդակագործ Կլաուս Օլդենբուրգի կողմից:



Բութ մատ, Փարիզ

Եվս մեկ տարօրինակ կառույց բրոնզից: 12 մետրանոց 18 տոննա կշռող քանդակը ստեղծվել է ֆրանսիացի քանդակագործ Սեզար Բալդաչչինիի կողմից:

Փիղն ընդդեմ գրավիտացիայի, Ֆոնտենբլո

Փիղը տեղադրված է Ֆոնտենբլոյի պալատում: Քանդակի հեղինակն է ֆրանսիացի նկարիչ Դանիել Ֆիրմանը:



Հսկայական սարդ, Բիլբաո

Սոլոմոն Գուգենհեյմի ժամանակակից արվեստի այցելուներին դիմավորում է այս մետաղե հսկայական սարդը՝ ստեղծված Լուիզա Բուրժուայի կողմից:



Դեցեբալ արքա, Դանուբ

Այս 40-մետրանոց քանդակը գտնվում է Ռումինիայում: Պատկերում է Դաքիայի Դեցեբալ արքային: Քանդակը ստեղծվել է 10 տարվա ընթացքում:



Մերիլին Մոնրո, Գույգան

Չինաստանում 8-մետրանոց Մերիլինը զարդարում էր քաղաքի գործարար թաղամասը, ինչից հետո քանդակը անսպասելիորեն տեղափոխվեց:



Ձիերի գլուխներ, Ֆոլկերկ

Երկու 30-մետրանոց ձիու գլուխները տեղադրել էր քանդակագործ Էնդի Սքոթը Շոտլանդիայի Ֆոլկերկ քաղաքի Ֆորտ-Կլայդ ջրանցքի մոտ:

Մետաղե հսկա քանդակների օգնությամբ նկարիչը ցանկացել էր շեշտել ձիերի կարևորությունը Շոտլանդիայի համար:
