Հրդեհների առաջացման հիմնական գործոնը երկրագնդի վրա ջերմաստիճանի բարձրացումն է: Հրդեհների մեծացման վտանգների և դրանց կանխարգելիչ միջոցառումների մասին խոսել է ՀՀ ԱԻՆ Պետական հրդեհային եւ տեխնիկական անվտանգության տեսչության քարոզչության բաժնի պետ Սերգեյ Հայրապետյանը:

Նա նշել է, որ երկրագնդի վրա տարեկան առաջանում են 200 հազարից ավելի անտառային հրդեհներ, որոնց հիմնական պատճառները կապված են մարդու գործունեության հետ: Շատ քիչ տոկոս են կազմում բնության կողմից առաջացող հրդեհները: Անտառային հրդեհների հասցված նյութական վնասները ահռելի են:

Հաշվի առնելով,որ Հայաստանում նվազել են անտառաշերտերը՝ մեզ համար կարևոր խնդիր է դրանք պահապանել հրդեհվելու վտանգից: Այդ նպատակով Սերգեյ Հայրապետյանը կոչ արեց ՀՀ քաղաքացիներին. «Իրենց հանգիստը վայելող մարդիկ պետք է շատ զգույշ լինեն: Այս ժամանակաշրջանում կրակ պետք է վառել խիստ անհրաժեշտության դեպքում՝ պահպանելով անվտանգության կանոնները: Կրակը հարկավոր է վառել առանձնացված տեղամասում, դրա շուրջը փորել, որպեսզի այն հնարավորություն չունենա տարածվելու: Մյուս կարևոր պայմանը, որ մեր բնակիչները չեն հավաքում իրենց հետևից թափված աղբը, ինչ ը երկար ժամանակ կուտակված մնալով ձեռք է բերում ինքնաբռնկման հատկություն: Ինչպես նաև չի կարելի նետել այրվող լուցկի և ծխախոտ»:- Ընդգծեց Սերգեյ Հայրապետյանը:
