Կալիֆորնիայի նահանգապետը 1 մլն դոլար է հատկացրել Գլենդելում Ամերիկայի հայկական թանգարան կառուցելու համար

Կալիֆորնիայի նահանգապետ Ջերի Բրաունը նահանգի` 2016-2017 թվականների բյուջեից 1 մլն դոլար է հատկացրել Գլենդելում Ամերիկայի հայկական թանգարան կառուցելու եւ կես մլն դոլար «Լարք» երաժշտական ընկերակցությանն աջակցելու համար:
Թանգարանի գործադիր հանձնաժողովի նախագահ ՊերճԿարապետյանի խոսքով` սա նահանգի կողմից բավականին մեծ հանձնառություն է:
«Սա առաջին կարեւոր քայլն է, եւ մենք հուսով ենք, որ ավելի շատ ֆինանսավորման հնարավորություն կլինի, երբ ծրագիրը առաջ տանենք»,- ասել է նա:
Կալիֆորնիայի նահանգային ժողովի անդամ Ադրին Նազարյանըվստահ է, որ այն կլինի գերազանց համալրում նահանգի հարուստ մշակութային եւ պատմական կենտրոնների կողքին:
«Կալիֆորնիայում հայերի անցած ճանապարհը ցեղասպանությունից մինչեւ բարգավաճում մեր նահանգի պատմության կարեւոր հատվածներից է: Մեր անցյալը ճանաչելի դարձնող այս թանգարանը կհամալրի նահանգի մշակութային կենտրոնների շարքը: Իսկ «Լարք» երաժշտական ընկերակցությանն ուղղված աջակցությունը կօգնի ընդլայնել նրանց նշանակալի ներդրումները արվեստի ոլորտում եւ պատրաստել երաժիշտների նոր սերունդ»,- ասել է Նահանգային ժողովի անդամը:
Կալիֆորնիայի Գլենդել քաղաքում Ամերիկայի հայկական թանգարանը ծրագիր է իրականացնում հայ-ամերիկյան փորձի միջոցով Ամերիկայի էթնիկ եւ մշակութային բազմազանությունը ավելի հասանելի եւ գնահատելի դարձնելու առաքելությամբ: Կառավարման խորհրդի կազմում են 9 հայ-ամերիկյան տարածաշրջանային հաստատություններ` Հայկական մշակութային հիմնադրամ, Հյուսիսային Ամերիկայի հայ ավետարանական միություն, Հայ կաթողիկե եկեղեցու Հյուսիսային Ամերիկայի թեմ, Հայ Առաքելական եկեղեցու Արեւմտյան թեմի առաջնորդարան:
«Լարք» երաժշտական ընկերակցությունը դասական եւ ֆոլկ ժանրում ստեղծագործող հայ երաժիշտների միություն է: Այն մինչ այսօր կազմակերպել է 300 համերգ, հրատարակել է 30-ից ավելի գիտական աշխատություններ, թողարկել է 5 սկավառակ, արժանացել է մի շարք մրցանակների:
