Հայ-ամերիկյան տնտեսական հարաբերությունները առաջ մղելու համար պետք է վերացվեն մի շարք խոչընդոտներ: Ինչպես հաղորդում է«Արմենպրես»-ը, Aysor.am-ին և «Արմենիա» հեռուստաընկերությանը տված հարցազրույցում այս մասին ասել է ԱՄՆ փոխպետքարտուղարի Եվրոպայի ու Եվրասիայի հարցերով տեղակալ, հայ-ամրիկյան տնտեսական համագործակցության միջկառավարական հանձնաժողովի ամերիկյան մասի համանախագահ Բրիջիթ Բրինքը:

«Հայ-ամերիկյան տնտեսական հարաբերություններն առաջ մղելու համար մենք աշխատում ենք մի շարք խոչընդոտների նվազեցման շուրջ: Փորձում ենք բաց և ազնիվ բանակցություններով ճանապարհ գտնել այդ հարաբերությունների կառուցմանը խոչընդոտող պատնեշները վերացնելու համար: Այդ խոչընդոտներից մեկը, ինչպես շատ երկրներում է, իմ երկրում ևս, կոռուպցիան է: Փորձել ենք շերտավորել այն՝ բարձր - ցածր մակարդակներով, գտնել ճանապարհներ՝ աջակցելու հակակոռուպցիոն հանձնաժողովին, ինչպես նաև այլ մեխանիզմներ առաջարկել պայքարելու կոռուպցիայի դեմ», - ասել է Բ. Բրինքը:

Նրա խոսքով, ԱՄՆ-ն աջակցում է Հայաստանում օտարերկրյա ներդրումները խթանելու համար: «Ցանկացած երկրում ներդրում անելու համար կարևոր է գնահատել բոլոր ռիսկերը: Ուստի այն պետք է ցածր լինի», - նշել է Պետքարտուղարության ներկայացուցիչը:

«Մենք աջակցում ենք արդարադատության համակարգում բարեփոխումներին, տեսնելու, որ կա անկախ դատական համակարգ: Բիզնես ոլորտը ևս պետք է վստահություն ներշնչի», - ասել է նա: Բրիջիթ Բրինքն ընդգծել է, որ հավատում է Հայաստանի կառավարության կողմից հայտարարված կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարի արդյունքներին:

«Հավատում եմ, որ արդյունքներ կլինեն... Բիզնեսը պետք է քիչ ռիսկ պարունակի, իսկ այն բարձր է: Տնտեսության զարգացման համար կոռուպցիան քայքայիչ է: Սա խնդիր է, որը կա շատ երկրներում, ինչպես նաև ԱՄՆ-ում, այնպես որ՝ մենք պետք է դրանից ազատվենք», - ասել է Բրիջիթ Բրինքը:
