Մեծ Բրիտանիայի ֆինանսների նախարար Ջորջ Օսբոռնը առաջին պաշտոնական հայտարարությունն Է արել հանրաքվեի արդյունքների վերաբերյալ, որում երկրի բնակիչները քվեարկել են Եվրամիությունից դուրս գալու օգտին: Նա փորձել Է հանգստացնել շուկաները, որոնք անկայունության նշաններ են դրսեւորում ԵՄ-ին անդամակցության հակառակորդների հաղթանակից հետո, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով BBC-ին:

«Բրիտանիան պատրաստ Է իր ուժի դիրքերից դիմակայել նրան, ինչ մեզ պատրաստում Է ապագան»,-հայտարարել Է նա հունիսի 27-ին հեռուստաուղերձում: «Ես չեմ ցանկանում, որ Բրիտանիան թիկունքով շրջվի Եվրոպային կամ մնացած աշխարհին»,-հավելել Է նախարարը:

Օսբոռնը նշել Է, որ երկիրը «ոչ դյուրին ճանապարհ» ունի անցնելու, բայց Բրիտանիան, նրա խոսքով, «պատրաստ Է ամեն ինչի»:

Նախարարը խոստովանել Է, որ Brexit-ի օգտին քվեարկությունից հետո առանձին ընկերություններ դադարեցրել են իրենց ներդրումները, ինչպես նաեւ անձնակազմի վարձակալման վերաբերյալ որոշումների ընդունումը: Նրա խոսքով՝ երկրի տնտեսությունն անխուսափելիորեն ստիպված կլինի հարմարվել նոր իրողությանը:

Սա Օսբոռնի առաջին պաշտոնական հայտարարությունն Էր հանրաքվեից հետո: Փորձագետների կարծիքով՝ նախարարը փորձել Է հանգստացնել ֆինանսական հատվածի ներկայացուցիչներին, որոնք նյարդայնորեն են արձագանքել Brexit-ի վերաբերյալ որոշմանը:

Moody's միջազգային վարկանիշային գործակալությունը բացասական կանխատեսում Է արել Բրիտանիայի վարկային ռեյտինգի վերաբերյալ, որն առայժմ պահպանվում Է AA1 մակարդակի վրա: Մի շարք բանկեր հայտարարել են երկրի տնտեսության համար ԵՄ-ից Բրիտանիայի դուրս գալու բացասական հետեւանքների մասին:

Մայիսի 27-ին ասիական բորսաների սակարկություններում ֆունտ ստեռլինգի փոխարժեքը նկատելիորեն ընկել Է: Բրիտանական արժույթը ամերիկյան դոլարի նկատմամբ հունիսի 24-ի սակարկությունների փակման մակարդակի համեմատությամբ կորցրել Է գրեթե 3 տոկոս: Եվրոյի նկատմամբ ֆունտ ստեռլինգը կորցրել Է 1,4 տոկոս:
