Հռոմի պապը ոգևորությամբ է ընդունել Վատիկանում Գրիգոր Նարեկացու արձանը կանգնեցնելու առաջարկը

Հռոմի Ֆրանցիսկոս պապը մեծ ուրախությամբ ընդունել է Վատիկանում Գրիգոր Նարեկացու արձանը կանգնեցնելու ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի առաջարկությունը: Երևանի մամուլի կենտրոնում լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանն այս մասին ասաց Վատիկանի Սուրբ Աթոռի մամուլի գրասենյակի տնօրեն Ֆեդերիկո Լոմբարդին: «Նախագահական նստավայրում Հայաստանի նախագահի և պապի հանդիպումն անցավ շատ ջերմ մթնոլորտում: Նախագահը պապին նվիրեց Գրիգոր Նարեկացու արձանը, որը շատ գեղեցիկ էր: Նաև Հայաստանի նախագահը պապին հայտնեց, որ հայ բարերարները ցանկություն ունեն հանդես գալ Վատիկանում Գրիգոր Նարեկացու արձանը կանգնեցնելու նախաձեռնությամբ: Պապը մեծ ուրախությամբ ընդունեց դա: Մենք շատ լավ գիտենք, թե ինչ նշանակություն ունի Նարեկացին հայ ժողովրդի համար: Ընդհանրապես, Նարեկացին Արևելքի և Արևմուտքի եկեղեցիների խորհրդանիշն է»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ ասաց Լոմբարդին:
Նա անդրադարձավ նաև հայկական ծիրանի մասին հարցին: Լոմբարդին նշեց, որ օդանավակայանում իրենց շատ գեղեցիկ պտուղներով լի սկուտեղ են մատուցել: «Մենք կերանք և մեզ շատ դուր եկավ, հետո իմացանք, որ դա բոլորին հայտնի հայկական ծիրանն է»,- ասաց նա:
Ֆեդերիկո Լոմբարդիին տպավորել է նաև Արարատ լեռը: Նրա խոսքով՝ միշտ իր ցանկությունն է եղել մոտիկից տեսնել այդ լեռը: «Ես շատ լավ գիտեմ, թե ինչ նշանակություն ունի այդ լեռը հայ ժողովրդի համար: Բացի այդ, այն ընդհանուր խորհրդանիշ է բոլորի համար, քանի որ Նոյն իր տապանով հենց այդ լեռան վրա է հանգրվանել»,- ասաց նա:
Վատիկանի Սուրբ աթոռի մամուլի գրասենյակի ղեկավարը պատասխանեց նաև հարցին՝ ինչո՞ւ է Հռոմի պապը միշտ շրջում հասարակ մեքենաներով: Լոմբարդին պատասխանեց, որ Հռոմի պապը սիրում է պարզ կյանք վարել: Նա ընդգծեց, որ պապին միշտ հարկավոր է փնտրել ամենափոքր ու պարզ մեքենայի մեջ:
