Արդեն այսօր առավոտյան բրիտանական ֆունտ ստեռլինգն ամերիկյան դոլարի համեմատությամբ նվազել է 11 տոկոսով: Սա 1985-ից հետո բրիտանական արժույթի վատագույն ցուցանիշն է:
Հաջորդ վտանգն այն է, որ Բրիտանիայի՝ Եվրամիության կազմից դուրս գալը կարող է հանգեցնել Միացյալ Թագավորության փլուզմանը: Բանն այն է, որ ըստ ընտրությունների քարտեզի՝ Շոտլանդիան միաձայն դեմ է արտահայտվել Եվրամիության կազմից դուրս գալու առաջարկին:
Ընտրությունների արդյունքների հրապարակումից ժամեր անց, ինչպես եւ խոստացել էր, հրաժարական տվեց Բրիտանիայի վարչապետ Դևիդ Քեմերոնը: Կառավարությունը, սակայն, դեռ կշարունակի իր աշխատանքը մինչեւ աշնան կեսերը:
Մյուս կարեւոր հանգամանքը փախստականների՝ Մեծ Բրիտանիա ազատ մուտք գործելու հնարավորության սահմանափակումը կլինի: Եվրամիության կազմից դուրս գալու կողմնակիցների հիմնական կարգախոսը հենց վերջինների՝ դեպի Բրիտանիա մեծաթիվ հոսքը սահմանափակելն էր: Շատ հավանական է, որ սա թույլ կտա երկրին փակել իր սահմանները ցածր որակավորում ունեցող փախստականների համար եւ նույնիսկ խնդրել արդեն իսկ Բրիտանիայում բնակվող (իսկ նրանց թիվը ավելի քան երկու միլիոն է եւ մեծ մասն ամուսնացած են բրիտանացիների հետ) փախստականներին լքել երկիրը:
Միաժամանակ, 2 միլիոն բրիտանացի ապրում է ԵՄ երկրների տարածքում, նրանց կարգավիճակն էլ դեռ հստակեցման կարիք ունի:
