Սիրիայի Ռաքքա նահանգում ռուս զինծառայողների զոհվելու մասին տեղեկատվությունը չի համապատասխանում իրականությանը: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, վկայակոչելով «Ինտերֆաքս»-ը, այս մասին հայտարարել է ՌԴ պաշտպանության նախարարության պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչ, գեներալ-մայոր Իգոր Կոնեշնիկովը:

«Միակ հարցը, որ մեզ մոտ ծագում է, այն է` ինչպես է ստացվում, որ նույն լուսանկարները համարյա միաժամանակ հայտնվում են «Իսլամական պետության» կայքում և ուկրաինացի հակառուսական քարոզիչների մոտ»,- ասել է նա:

Ավելի վաղ «Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական խմբավորման կայքում, ինչպես նաև ուկրաինական մի շարք լրատվամիջոցներում հայտնվել էր տեղեկատվություն այն մասին, որ ԻՊ-ի կենտրոն Ռաքքա քաղաքի մոտակայքում մարտական գործողությունների ընթացքում ռուս զինծառայողներ են զոհվել:
