Քիմ Քարդաշյան. ԱՄՆ Սենատը հուսախաբ արեց մեզ

Հունիսի 12-ին ԱՄՆ-ի աֆղանական ծագումով քաղաքացի Օմար Մատինը Օռլանդոյում գիշերային գեյ ակումբում հրաձգություն էր կազմակերպել՝ սպանելով 49 ու վիրավորելով 53 մարդու:
Սկսված փոխհրաձգության ժամանակ ոստիկանությունը ոչնչացրել էր նրան: Օռլանդոյում կատարված ողբերգությունը տխուր ռեկորդ է սահմանել ամերիկյան պատմության մեջ զանգվածային հրաձգության զոհերի քանակով, իսկ համաշխարհային շոու բիզնեսի աստղերից շատերը իրենց տեսակետն էին արտահայտում այս կապակցությամբ: Անտարբեր չէր մնացել նաև Քիմ Քարդաշյանը, որը իր Twitter–ում հետևյալն էր գրել.
«Ես բառեր չունեմ իմ ցավն արտահայտելու համար: Իմ սերն ու աղոթքները բոլոր նրանց, ովքեր տուժել են այս հանցագործությունից: Դաշնային օրենքը չգիտես ինչու ՀԴԲ հսկողության տակ գտնվող կասկածելի մարդկանց թույլատրում է զենք ձեռք բերել: Մենք բազմիցս դիմել ենք Կոնգրեսին, որպեսզի փակեն օրենքի այս սողանցքը, որը թույլ է տալիս վտանգավոր մարդկանց զենք գնել ու սպանել ուրիշներին: Բայց ոչինչ չի փոխվում: Մարդիկ շարունակում են անիմաստ զոհվել: Ե՞րբ են վերջապես փոխելու զենք ձեռք բերելու մասին օրենքը»։
Հունիսի 20-ին ԱՄՆ Կոնգրեսի Վերին պալատում քվեարկության էին դրվել զենքի շրջանառության ոլորտում օրենսդրության մեջ չորս փոփոխություններ, որոնք սակայն անհրաժեշտ ձայներ չեն հավաքել:
Քիմ Քարդաշյանը այս կապակցությամբ Սենատին մեղադրել է Ամերիկայի քաղաքացիներին հուսախաբ անելու մեջ:
«Սարսափելի է, երբ կատարվածից հետո ցանկացած մարդ էլի կարող է անարգել զենք գնել: Սենատը հուսախաբ արեց մեզ»,- գրել է հայուհին իր Twitter–ում:
