ԱՄՆ-ի ՊՆ պաշտոնյաները պաշտոնապես խոստովանել են ընթացիկ ամսվա սկզբին Սիրիայի հյուսիսում ամերիկացի զինծառայողների վիրավորվելու իրողությունը:
Ամերիկյան CNN հեռուստաընկերության հաղորդմամբ՝ հունիսի 9-ին «Իսլամական պետություն» (ԻՊ) ահաբեկչական կազմակերպության զինյալները հակատանկային արկեր են արձակել Սիրիայի հյուսիսում տեղակայված հրամանատարական կետի ուղղությամբ, որտեղ գտնվել են նաև ամերիկացի զինծառայողներ. նրանցից 4-ը ստացել է տարբեր աստիճանի վնասվածքներ:

Հայտնի է, որ Պենտագոնը դեռևս ընթացիկ տարվա ապրիլին Սիրիայի հյուսիսում՝ սիրիական ընդդիմադիր որոշ կառույցների և քրդական ինքնապաշտպանական ուժերի կողմից վերահսկվող մի շարք բնակավարերում, անտեսելով ՍԱՀ իշխանությունների դժգոհությունը, տեղակայել էր 150 զինծառայողների, որտեղից նրանք պետք է համակարգեին ԻՊ-ի դեմ ցամաքային ռազմագործողությունները: Եվ թեպետ նշված գործողություններն արդեն ավելի քան մեկ ամիս շարունակվում են, սակայն որևէ լուրջ առաջընթաց կոալիցիոն ուժերին արձանագրել այդպես էլ չի հաջողվել:

Մինչդեռ, ի տարբերություն Սիրիայի, որտեղ ԻՊ-ի դեմ վճռորոշ ռազմագործողությունների իրականացման հարցում, բացի ցամաքային ռազմական ներուժի անբավարարությունից, առկա են նաև որոշ քաղաքական պատճառներ՝ պայմանավորված սիրիական վարչակարգի և նրա արտաքին հովանավորների՝ Իրանի, բայց հատկապես Ռուսաստանի հետ շահերի բախման հանգամանքով, Իրաքում ահաբեկչական կառույցի դեմ ձեռքբերված հաջողություններն առավել շոշափելի են: Օրերս իրաքյան բանակային ստորաբաժանումներին, նրանց հարող շիայական զինված խմբավորումներին, ԱՄՆ-ի գլխավորած կոալիցիոն օդուժի աջակցությամբ, հաջողվեց ազատագրել ԻՊ-ի կողմից շուրջ 2 տարի վերահսկվող, երկրի կենտրոնում գտնվող ալ-Ֆալուջա քաղաքը, որը չափազանց կարևոր ռազմավարական, կրոնական և պատմական նշանակություն ունի իրաքյան իսլամական ծայրահեղ արմատական կառույցների համար:

Ալ-Ֆալուջայի ազատագրումից հետո Իրաքում ԻՊ-ի վերահսկողության տակ մնաց երկրի հյուսիսում իր նշանակությամբ և մեծությամբ երկրորդ Մոսուլ քաղաքը, որի դեմ ռազմագործողությունը ևս արդեն մեկնարկել է, բայց բավական դանդաղ է ընթանում:
Իրաքում ԻՊ-ի դեմ արձանագրվող հաջողությունների հիմնական առանձնահատկություններից մեկն էլ այն է, որ այս երկրում ԱՄՆ-ի գլխավորած կոալիցիայի և ցամաքում նրա դաշնակից ուժերի՝ իրաքյան բանակի, քրդական փեշմարգայի ու այլ տարաբնույթ խմբավորումների միջև առկա է սերտ համագործակցություն, իսկ քաղաքական հակասություններն էլ հասցվել են նվազագույնի: Ի դեպ, Իրաքում տեղակայված ամերիկացի զինծառայողների և ռազմական ոլորտի մասնագետների թիվը անցնում է 2 հազարն, ինչը ևս որոշակի ցուցիչ է ԻՊ-ի դեմ պայքարում արձանագրված համեմատական հաջողությունների:
