Ճապոնիայի Սագայի համալսարանի եւ OPTIM IT-ընկերության մասնագետներն անօդաչու թռչող ապարատ են մշակել գյուղատնտեսական հանդակներում վնասատու միջատների դեմ պայքարելու համար: Այս մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է«Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտնել են տեղական զանգվածային լրատվամիջոցները:
Անօդաչուն հանդերձված Է մի քանի ինֆրակարմիր խցիկներով եւ այլ տվիչներով, որոնք կառավարում են շարժումը եւ ջերմությունը, ինչպես նաեւ փոշեցիրով: Ենթադրվում Է, որ դրանք դաշտերի վրա կթռչեն գիշերային ժամերին, երբ թռչունների բացակայությամբ բզեզներին գործելու լիակատար ազատություն Է ընձեռված: Տեսնելով թիրախը՝ սարքը կսկսի ընդհուպ մոտենալ բույսերին եւ միջատներին «գրոհել» պեստիցիդների օգնությամբ:
