Վատիկանը ունիկալ քաղաք – պետություն է, որը գտնվում է Հռոմի տարածքում, սակայն դրա փոքր չափերը չենք նշանակում, որ այն չի կարող ձեզ զարմացնել։ Ահա 10 ապշեցուցիչ փաստ Վատիկանի և Հռոմի Պապի մասին։

10. Վատիկանում, մեկ շնչի հաշվարկով, խմում են ավելի շատ գինի, քան աշխարհում որևէ այլ տեղ։ Այստեղ մեկ մարդը տարեկան խմում է 54 լիտր գինի։

9. Վատիկանում է գտնվում աշխարհի ամենակարճ երկաթուղին, որը բաղկացած է 300 մետրանոց 2 գծից, 2 բեռնափոխադրման ճանապարհից և մեկ կայարանից։

7. Այս պետությունը ունի սեփական եվրոի տեսակը, որը կարող է ազատորեն շրջանառվել Եվրոմիության այլ երկրներում։

6. Հռոմի պապը ունի սեփական բանակը, որը չափազանց ծիծաղելի հագուկապ ունի։ Բանակի պաշտոնական անունը Պապական Գվարդիա է. այն բաղկացած է 133 զինվորից, տեղակայված է Վատիկանում և պատասխանատու է Պապի անվտանգության համար։

5. Վաիկանը սեփական աստղադիտարանն ունի ԱՄՆ –ի Արիզոնա նահանգի հարավարևելյան հատվածում՝ Գրեմ լեռան վրա։ Այն կառավարում է Վատիկանի օբսերվատորիան՝ աշխարհի ամենահին աստղագիտական հաստատություններից մեկը։

4. Վատիկանի Փոստը աշխարհում ամենաապահովն է։ Շատ հռոմեացիներ հատուկ գալիս են Վատիկան՝ իրենց նամակներն ու փաստաթղթերը ապահով ուղղարկելու համար։
