Ղազախստանը հստակ ասել է, որ սգում է այն անմեղ զոհերի հիշատակը, որոնք նահատակվել են 1915-1918 թվականներին, ընդհանրապես, առաջին համշախարհային պատերազմի տարիներին: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ի մամուլի սրահում հրավիրված ասուլիսին նշեց Հայաստանում Ղազախստանի Հանրապետության նորանշանակ արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Թիմուր Ուրազաևը:

«Հարցը շատ զգայուն է հայերի համար և մենք դա հասկանում ենք: Երբ բարձրաձայնվում է ցեղասպանության ճանաչման հարցը, թերևս, առաջին հերթին պետք է այն ուղղել նրան, ով մեղադրվում է: Ղազախստանն ինքը մեծ կորուստ է ունեցել 1920-30-ական թվականներին, երբ սովից մահացել է բնակչության 40 տոկոսը: Հասարակության մեջ ակտիվորեն քննարկվում է այն հարցը, որ դա ճանաչվի որպես ցեղասպանություն ընդդեմ ղազախների: Մեր պետությունը չի շտապում գնալ այդ ճանապարհով: Ներկա պահին, եթե մենք սկսենք խոսել ցեղասպանության մասին, միշտ երկրորդ հարցն է բարձացվում,  ո՞վ է մեղավ որը:  Ինչպիսն էլ լինի մեր դիրքորոշումը, մենք չէինք ցանկանա այնպիսի քայլեր ձեռնարկել, որոնք չեն բարելավի ընդհանուր իրավիճակը տարածաշրջանում, ինչպես նաև այլ երկրների հետ հարաբերություններում»,-ասաց դեսպանը:

Դեսպանը հավատացած է, որ կգա ժամանակը, և այդ հարցի հետ կապված Հայաստանն ու Թուրքիան կհասնեն փոխընդունելի որոշման: «Ես վստահ եմ, որ պատմական գնահատականները տրված են, ու հայտնի են շատերին, իսկ քաղաքական գնահատականները տրվում են այն ժամանակ, երբ դրա համար հասունանում են անհրաժեշտ պայմանները: Մենք կփոխգործակցենք տարածաշրջանային երկրների հետ և’ Հայատանի, և’ Թուրքիայի հետ, որ երկու երկրների ժողովուրդների միջև փոխադարձ հասկացվածություն լինի»,-ավելացրեց դեսպանը:

Ուկրաինայի հայոց թեմի առաջնորդ Տ. Մարկոս եպիսկոպոս Հովհաննիսյանը նշեց, որ Հայոց ցեղասպանության հարցը շատ կարևոր է, որովհետև այն հայ ազգի ամենամեծ ողբերգությունն է:

«Այդ համատեքստում տարբեր երկրների, ժողովուրդների կողմից  բարոյական աջակցություն ստանալը մեզ համար շատ կարևոր է: Այստեղ ես կցանկանայի ընդգծել գործընթացի հասունացման պահը: Նախորդ տարի Ուկրաինայի Գերագույն ռադայում առաջին անգամ ապրիլի 24-ին մեկ րոպե լռությամբ հարգեցին 1915 թվականի զոհերի հիշատակը: Դա գործընթացի հասունացման առաջին քայլն է»,-ասաց  Տ. Մարկոս եպիսկոպոս Հովհաննիսյանն` ընդգծելով, որ պետք է միջազգային հանրությանը մոտեցնել խնդրին:
