Իտալիայի կառավարող Դեմոկրատական կուսակցությունից թեկնածու Ռոբերտո Ջակետին ընդունել է իր պարտությունը Հռոմի քաղաքագլխի ընտրություններում, տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով BBC-ին:
Չսպասելով քվեարկության արդյունքների հրապարակմանը, նա հաղթանակի առթիվ շնորհավորել է իր մրցակցուհուն՝ Վիրջինիա Ռաջիին, որը ներկայացնում է «Հինգ աստղերի շարժում» կազմակերպությունը:
Էկզիտ-պոլերի տվյալներով՝ Ռաջիի օգտին կրկնակի ավելի ընտրողներ են քվեարկել, քան Ջակետիի օգտին: Ձայների 16 տոկոսի հաշվման արդյունքները հաստատել են այս տեղեկատվությունը:
Սա քվեարկության երկրորդ փուլն էր: Առաջին փուլում Վիրջինիա Ռաջին ստացել էր ձայների ավելի քան 32 տոկոսը: Երկրորդ տեղն զբաղեցրել էր Ջակետին, որին պաշտպանել էր Իտալիայի վարչապետ Մատեո Ռենցին:
