«Հայաստանի եվրոպացի բարեկամներ» (EuFoA) բրյուսելյան հասարակական կազմակերպությունն իր մտահոգությունն է հայտնել Ադրբեջանի կողմից պետական մակարդակով մարդու իրավունքների ոտնահարման փաստի ռնչությամբ: Այս անգամ պաշտոնական Բաքուն խոչընդոտում է եվրոպական լրագրողների աշխատանքը՝ թույլ չտալով Արցախի թեմայով հրապարակումներ կատարել: «Հայաստանի եվրոպացի բարեկամներ»-ի ամբողջական հայտարարությունը ներկայացվում է ստորև:

«Ադրբեջանը հերթական անգամ պետական մակարդակով ոտնահարում է մարդու իրավունքներն ու հիմնարարար ազատությունները՝ խոչընդոտելով եվրոպական լրագրողների ազատ տեղաշարժին և խոսքի ազատությանը: Ընդ որում, Ադրբեջանի համար նման պրակտիկան ոչ միայն սովորական է, այլև դարձել է մամուլում հպարտանալու առիթ: Խոսքը, մասնավորապես, Ադրբեջանի Արտաքին գործերի նախարարության խոսնակի՝ նախօրեին տեղական մամուլում արված հայտարարության մասին է առ այն, որ մոլդովական TV7 հեռուստաընկերության լրագրող Լիուբա Մաքսիմը հեռացվել է աշխատանքից այս տարվա մայիսին Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հանրապետության կատարած լրագրողական այցի և պատրաստած ռեպորտաժի համար:

Դեպքի առնչությամբ «Հայաստանի եվրոպացի բարեկամներ» (EuFoA) բրյուսելյան հասարակական կազմակերպությունը իր խիստ մտահոգությունն է հայտնում՝ հորդորելով միջազգային իրավապաշտպան կազմակերպություններին համապատասխան միջոցներ ձեռնարկել: Միաժամանակ EuFoA-ն անհրաժեշտ է համարում պարզաբանել միջադեպի մասով որոշակի հանգամանքներ: Այսպես, Մոլդովական TV7 հեռուստաընկերության լրագրող Լիուբա Մաքսիմը հեռուստաընկերության օպերատորի հետ միասին ճամփորդել է ԼՂՀ EuFoA-ի հրավերով՝ հեռուստաընկերության ղեկավարությունից համաձայնություն ստանալով: EuFoA-ն իր մեդիա քաղաքականության և կանոնակարգերի համաձայն որևէ տեսակի ուղղակի կամ անուղղակի ազդեցություն չի ունեցել այցի ընթացքում հավաքվող և հետագայում խմբագրվող տեղեկատվության վրա: Ուստի մտահոգիչ է նաև այն հանգամանքը, որ հեռուստաընկերությունը, կանխավ հաստատելով լրագրողական այցի վայրը և նպատակը՝ ազատում է աշխատանքից լրագրողին՝ գործարքի մեջ մտնելով Ադրբեջանի հանցավոր ռեժիմի հետ և կասկածի տակ դնելով Մոլդովայի մամուլի ազատության մակարդակը:

EuFoA-ն նկատում է, որ այս քայլով ադրբեջանական կողմը հերթական անգամ փորձ է կատարում սահմանափակել միջազգային հարթակներում Արցախի վերաբերյալ տեղեկատվության ներկայացման փորձերը, ինչպես նաև ջանում է վախ սերմանել մոլդովացի և արտասահմանյան լրագրողների շրջանում' բացառելով նրանց հետագա հնարավոր այցերը Արցախ: EuFoA-ն պատրասվում է այս միջադեպը ներկայացնել միջազգային բարձր հարթակներում և իրավապաշտպան կառույցներում՝ լրագրողի խախտված իրավունքները վերականգնելու և Ադրբեջանի հանցավոր ռեժիմի դեմ պատժամիջոցներ կիրառելու նպատակով. ճիշտ այն ռեժիմի, ո րը թույլ է տալիս իրեն խախտել մարդու իրավունքները ու սահմանափակել հիմնարար ազատությունները այսպես հրապարակային ու այսքան ցինիզմով' այսպիսով ծաղր ու ծանակի ենթարկելով նաև Եվրոպական Միությունն ու վերջիններիս սկզբունքներն առհասարակ»:
