Խորհրդարանը քննարկում է Հայաստանի և Իրանի կառավարությունների միջև ստորագրված՝ «Քաղաքացիների առանց մուտքի արտոնագրերի այցելությունների մասին» փոխըմբռնման հուշագիրը վավերացնելու հարցը: Հիմնական զեկուցողը՝ ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարի տեղակալ Շավարշ Քոչարյանը նշեց, թե հուշագրով նախատեսվում է, որ այսու հետ կգործի այն ռեժիմը, որ առանց որևէ վիզայի ձևակերպման Հայաստանի քաղաքացիները կարողանան այցելել Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետություն և հակառակը: «Ընդ որում, նախատեսվում է, որ այցելությունների ժամանակ քաղաքացին առավելագույնը մինչև 90 օր  կարող է գտնվել տվյալ երկրում: Դա կարող է լինել անընդհատ 90 օր, կարող է լինել ընդհատումներով»,- պարզաբանեց փոխնախարարը:

Շավարշ Քոչարյանը հիշեցրեց, որ ներկա փուլում գործում է վիզային ռեժիմ, սակայն վիզա տրամադրվում է բավականին պարզեցված ռեժիմով՝ անմիջապես սահմանին: Փոխըմբռնման հուշագրով վիզաների պահանջը հանվում է: Փոխնախարարը նաև հայտնեց, որ հունիսի 8-ին Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետությունը տեղեկացրել է, որ իրենք ավարտել են ներպետական բոլոր գործընթացները:

ԱԺ ՀՀԿ խմբակցության պատգամավոր Սուքիաս Ավետիսյանը հետաքրքրվեց՝ տարեկան ՀՀ քանի՞ քաղաքացի է հատում Իրանի սահմանը և Իրանի քանի՞ քաղաքացի է գալիս Հայաստան: «Մենք ունենք այդ տվյալները: Իրանից ավելի շատ են Հայաստանի գալիս: Եղել են լավ ժամանակներ: Մինչև Իրանի նկատմամբ պատժամիջոցների սրվելը Իրանից Հայաստան է ժամանել 120 հազար մարդ: Հետո այդ թիվը նվազեց՝ պայմանավորված առաջին հերթին այն հանգամանքով, որ ձեռքներին գումար չկար: Հիմա՝ պատժամիջոցները հանելուց հետո, այդ թիվը կարող է ավելանալ: Բացի այդ, երկու կողմերն էլ ակնկալում են, որ այս հու շագրի վավերացումից հետո կակտիվանան փոխադարձ զբոսաշրջային այցերը»,- պատասխանեց Քոչարյանը:
