ԱՄՆ-ի պետքարտուղար Ջոն Քերին «կարեւոր հայտարարություն» Է համարել ներգերատեսչական այն հուշագիրը, որը Բարաք Օբամայի վարչակազմին հորդորում Է ռազմական գործողություններ սկսել պաշտոնական Դամասկոսի ուժերի դեմ, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով Reuters-ին:

«Դա կարեւոր հայտարարություն Է, եւ ես շատ, անչափ հարգում եմ այդ գործընթացը: Ես հնարավորություն կունենամ այդ մարդկանց հետ հանդիպելու, երբ վերադառնամ»,-հայտարարել Է Քերին Կոպենհագեն իր այցի ժամանակ: 

Մեջբերման բնագիրն Է. "It's an important statement and I respect the process, very, very much. I will… have a chance to meet with people when I get back".

Պետքարտուղարը նշել Է, որ դեռ չի ծանոթացել փաստաթղթին:

Մինչդեռ, ՌԴ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության ներկայացուցիչ Մարիա Զախարովան հույս Է հայտնել, որ ԱՄՆ-ը եւ Սիրիայում նրա գործընկերները չեն կրկնի ճգնաժամի ուժային լուծման անցյալի սխալները: 

«Կցանկանայի հուսալ, որ այն սխալները, որոնք այդ թվում՝ ԱՄՆ-ի եւ անօրինական բոլոր կոալիցիաների կողմից կատարվել են թե՛ Իրաքում, թե՛ այլ վայրերում բռնի իշխանափոխության, ուժին լուծման նպատակով, հակամարտության լուծման նկատմամբ ընդհանրապես պրոֆեսիոնալ մոտեցման բացակայությամբ, դրանք, այնուամենայնիվ, չեն մոռացվի»,-հայտարարել Է Զախարովան:

Ինչպես արդեն տեղեկացվել Է, ԱՄՆ-ի Պետդեպարտամենտի աշխատակիցները նամակ են ուղարկել նախագահ Բարաք Օբամային, որում նրան առաջարկել են ռազմական գործողություն իրականացնել Սիրիայի կառավարական ուժերի դեմ եւ պետական հեղաշրջման հասնել մերձավորարեւելյան այդ երկրում:

«Պետդեպի տասնյակ աշխատակիցներ այս շաբաթ բողոք են հայտնել Սիրիայում ԱՄՆ-ի քաղաքականության դեմ, նրանք ստորագրել են ներքին փաստաթուղթ, որը կոչ է բովանդակում՝ ուղղորդված ռազմական հարվածներ հասցնել Դամասկոսի կառավարությանը: Դրանում ասված է, որ ռեժիմի փոխարինումը «Իսլամական պետությանը» հաղթելու միակ միջոցն է»,- գրում է The Wall Street Journal ամերիկյան թերթի էլեկտրոնային տարբերակը:

Հրատարակության աղբյուրների տվյալներով՝ փաստաթուղթն ստորագրել են ԱՄՆ-ի արտաքին քաղաքական գերատեսչության 51 աշխատակիցներ, այդ թվում՝ հանգուցային պաշտոններ զբաղեցնող չինովնիկներ:

Պետդեպարտամենտի ներկայացուցիչն ընդունել է նման հուշագրի ստանալու փաստը, բայց հրաժարվել է մեկնաբանել դրա բովանդակությունը, հաղորդել է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
