Ըմբիշ Էդգար Խաչատրյանը դարձել է աշխարհի առաջնության բրոնզե մեդալակիր

Բրազիլիայի Սալվադոր դա Բայա քաղաքում ավարտվեց հունահռոմեկան ըմբշամարտի աշխարհի երիտասարդական առաջնությունը: Այս մասին տեղեկացնում է ըմբշամարտի ֆեդերացիան:
Արմեն Բաբալարյանի գլխավորությամբ հանդես եկած մեր վեց ըմբիշներից միայն 120 կգ քաշային Էդգար Խաչատրյանին հաջողվեց բարձրանալ պատվո պատվանդան: Էդգարը նախ բացահայտ առավելությամբ հաղթեց մեքսիկացի Բրայան Կոստելյանոսին, ապա 10:4 հաշվով Ադրբեջանի պատվիրակ Դավիդ Ֆեյզիևին: Կիսաեզրափակիչում մեր գերծանր քաշայինը պարտվեց ռուսաստանցի Սերգեյ Սեմանովին, սակայն բրոնզե մեդալի համար պայքարում համոզիչ առավելությամբ՝ 12:3 հաշվով հաղթեց հնդիկ Մեհար Սինգին: Այս քաշային կարգում չեմպիոն դարձավ վրացի Զվիադի Պատարիձեն: Երեկ սպասելիքները մեծ էին նա և 55 կգ քաշային Սլավիկ Գալստյանից և 66 կգ քաշային Կարեն Ասլանյանից: Սլավիկը որակավորման փուլում հաղթեց խորվաթ ըմբիշի, ապա պարտության մատնեց ԱՄՆ և Ռուսաստանի ներկայացուցիչներին, սակայն կիսաեզրափակչում պարտվեց Ադրբեջանի, իսկ երրորդ տեղի համար պայքարում Ուզբեկստանի պատվիրակներին ու մնաց առանց մեդալի: Ադրբեջանցի ըմբիշը եզրափակչում հաղթեց Բուլղարիայի ներկայացուցչին: Ադրբեջանական պատնեշը չհաղթահարեց նաև երիտասարդների 2013 թվականի աշխարհի չեմպիոն, նախորդ տարվա արծաթե մեդալակիր Կարեն Ասլանյանը: Կարենը որակավորման փուլում շատ վստահ հաղթեց հնդիկ Աշոկ Կումարին, իսկ 1/8 փուլում պարտության մատնեց ամերիկացի Հայդեն Թումային: Բայց քանի որ նրան քառորդ եզրափակչում հաղթած ադրբեջանցի Ռուհիմ Միրայլովը կիսաեզրափակչում համառ պայքարում զիջեց վրացի Ռամազ Զոիդզեին, ուստի մեր ըմբիշը զրկվեց բրոնզե մեդալի համար պայքարելու հնարավորությունից: Այս քաշային կարգում հաղթող դարձավ Վրաստանի ներկայացուցիչը՝ եզրափակչում պարտության մատնելով ռուսաստանցի Ախմեդ Կատյուկովին:
Հիշեցնենք, որ նախօրեին մրցած մեր մյուս երեք ըմբիշներին չէր հաջողվել մեդալ նվաճել: Այսպիսով հունահռոմեկան երիտասարդ ըմբիշները Բրազիլիայից տուն են վերադառնում մեկ բրոնզե մեդալով: Օգոստոսի 14-ին պայքարի մեջ կմտնեն ազատ ոճայինները:
