«Հռոմի Պապի այցից առաջ Հայաստանի սուրբ քաղաքում՝ էջմիածնում, ուշագրավ միջադեպ է արձանագրվել։ «ժողովուրդ»–ի տեղեկություններով՝ Էջմիածնի քաղաքապետարանի մարզադպրոցի տնօրենի տեղակալ Արամ Բեյբությանը գինովցած, դանակի սպառնալիքով պատանդ է վերցրել Էջմիածին-Երևան երթուղու միկրոավտոբուսի վարորդին և ուղևորներին, հայհոյանքներով և սպառնալիքներով պարտադրել այն վարել իր մատնանշած վայրը։ Իսկ երբ «Գազել»–ը հասել է Բեյբությանի տան մոտ, նա ուղևորներին հրահանգել Է իջնել ավտոմեքենայից, իսկ ինքն իր մոտ եղած դանակով կոտրել Է «Գազել»–ի ապակիները, հայելիները, պատռել անիվներն ու նստարանները։ Այս պատմության մեջ ամենատարօրինակն այն Է, որ դանակով ուղևորին սպանել սպառնացող փոխտնօրենին ՀՀ քննչական կոմիտեի քննիչները ստորագրությամբ ազատ են արձակել, ավելին՝ անգամ քրեական գործ չեն հարուցել։ Իհարկե, այս երևույթն այդքան տարօրինակ չէր լինի, եթե Հայաստանի իրավապահները բոլորի հանդեպ այդքան «մարդասեր» և ներողամիտ գտնվեին։ Հիշեցնենք, որ, օրինակ, Ազատության հրապարակում տոնածառ տեղադրելու համար Գևորգ Սաֆարյանն արդեն հինգ ամսից ավել կալանքի տակ է, ոստիկաններին խաղալիք ատրճանակով սպառնալու համար Հայկ Կյուրեղյանը դատապարտվեց 9 տարվա ազատազրկման և այսպես շարունակ։ Եվ երբ մարդիկ ասում են, որ Հայաստանում արդարադատություն չկա, իշխանություններին թվում Է, թե ասում են՝ իրավապահ կամ դատավոր չկա։ Օրենքները խտրական կիրառելն Է հենց արդարադատության բացակայության մասին վկայում։ Իսկ ինչո՞ւ Է փոխտնօրենը նման բան արել»»,–գրում է թերթը։
