ԱԳ փոխնախարար Հովակիմյանը մասնակցել է Միջուկային ահաբեկչության դեմ պայքարի գլոբալ նախաձեռնության 10-ամյակի հանդիպմանը

ՀՀ պատվիրակությունը, ԱԳ նախարարի տեղակալ Աշոտ Հովակիմյանի գլխավորությամբ, հունիսի 15-16-ը Հաագայում մասնակցել է Միջուկային ահաբեկչության դեմ պայքարի գլոբալ ռուս-ամերիկյան նախաձեռնության (Global Initiative to Combat Nuclear Terrorism) 10-ամյակին նվիրված հանդիպմանը, որը կազմակերպել էր Նիդերլանդների արտաքին գերատեսչությունը:
Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից, որի հաղորդագրության մեջ նաև նշված է. «Հանդիպման նպատակն էր ամփոփել վերջին տասնամյակում Նախաձեռնության մասնակից երկրների կողմից միջուկային ու ռադիոակտիվ նյութերի մաքսանենգ փոխադրումները բացահայտելու ու նման միջադեպերին արձագանքելու, ինչպես նաև ահաբեկչական ու հանցավոր խմբերի կողմից այդ նյութերի ձեռք բերումը կանխարգելելու շրջանակներում իրականացված գործողություննեը:
Բացման ելույթներով հանդես եկան Նիդերլանդների արդարադատության և անվտանգության հարցերով նախարարը, Սպառազինությունների և չտարածման հարցերով ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարի տեղակալը և ՌԴ ԱԳՆ Չտարածման և սպառազինությունների վերահսկման դեպարտամենտի տնօրենը:
ԱԳ նախարարի տեղակալ Աշոտ Հովակիմյանն իր ելույթում ներկայացրեց Նախաձեռնության շրջանակներում երկկողմ և բազմակողմ հարթություններում Հայաստանի կողմից իրականացված աշխատանքներն ու ծրագրերը: Անդրադարձ կատարվեց ԱՄՆ կառավարության հետ Միջուկային ու ռադիոակտիվ նյութերի մաքսանենգության դեմ պայքարի համատեղ ծրագրի, ինչպես նաև ՌԴ «Ռոսատոմ» պետական կորպորացիայի հետ համագործակցության շրջանակներում կատարված աշխատանքներին: Ներկայացվեց նաև ՄԱԿ-ի ԱԽ 1540 բանաձևի 2015-2020թթ. ՀՀ Ազգային գործողությունների ծրագրի իրականացման ընթացքը:
Քննարկումների ժամանակ Աշոտ Հովակիմյանը խոսեց նաև տարածաշրջանային հակամարտություններում ներգրավված դերակատարների կողմից միջուկային ահաբեկչության դեմ պայքարի հարթությունը քաղաքական նպատակներով շահարկելու մասին: ԱԳ նախարարի տեղակալը նշեց, որ նման անհիմն մեղադրանքների միակ նպատակն է շեղել միջազգային հանրության ուշադրությունը հակամարտությունների խաղաղ կարգավորումից և արդարացնել սեփական ագրեսիվ գործողությունները:
Տեղեկատվություն. Ռուս-ամերիկյան Միջուկային ահաբեկչության դեմ պայքարի գլոբալ նախաձեռնությանն անդամ ենհանդիսանում 86 պետություն, այդ թվում՝ 2007 թվականից` Հայաստանը: Դիտորդի կարգավիճակ ունեն 5 միջազգայինկազմակերպություն: Մարտի 31-ից ապրիլի 1-ը Վաշինգտոնում կայացած Միջուկային անվտանգության գագաթնաժողովին, որինմասնակցել է ՀՀ Նախագահը, Հայաստանը միացել է «Միջուկային ահաբեկչության դեմ պայքարի գլոբալ նախաձեռնությանգործողությունների ծրագրին»:
