Ընտանիքով Ադրբեջան փախած Եղիշե Գեւորգյանն իրեն մասնակի է մեղավոր ճանաչում եւ պատրաստ է կրել օրենքով սահմանված պատիժը: Այս մասին այսօր՝ օգոստոսի 13-ին, Արարատի եւ Վայոց Ձորի մարզերի ընդհանուր իրավասության դատարանի Վեդիի նստավայրում հայտարարեց ամբաստանյալը: Նա հրաժարվեց պաշտպանի ծառայություններից, քանի որ չի պատրաստվում ցուցմունք տալ:
«Հարգելի դատարան, ես ներողություն եմ խնդրում Հայաստանի իշխանություններից եւ հայտարարում եմ, որ պատրաստ եմ կրել պատիժը: Իսկ փաստաբան ինձ հարկավոր չէ, քանի որ լռելու եմ նիստերի ժամանակ»,- ասաց Եղիշե Գեւորգյանը:
Գեւորգյանի կինը՝ Ռուզաննա Սարդանյանը, սակայն, իրեն մեղավոր չճանաչեց՝ հայտարարելով, որ իրեն մեղսագրված արարքն ինքը չի կատարել:
«Փաստաբանի կարիք չունեմ, որովհետեւ ինձ մեղավոր չեմ ճանաչում եւ պաշտպանության կարիք չունեմ»,- ասաց Ռուզաննա Սարդանյանը:
Նշենք, որ ամուսինների պաշտպաններին այսօր չէին ներկայացել: Դատական նիստը հետաձգվեց եւ միջնորդություն ուղարկվեց Հանրային պաշտպանի գրասենյակին՝ փաստաբան տրամադրելու Ադրբեջան փախած ընտանիքին:
Հիշեցնենք, որ ըստ մեղադրական եզրակացության՝ Եղիշե Գեւորգյանը 2010թ. հունվարի 10-ին ժամը 19:00-ի սահմաններում կնոջ` Ռուզաննա Մարդանյանի, եւ 3 անչափահաս երեխաների հետ «Երազ» մակնիշի ավտոմեքենայով բարձր արագության տակ մուտք է գործել Արարատի մարզի Երասխավան գյուղի տարածքում գտնվող զորամասի մարտական հենակետի տարածք: Չկատարելով՝ սահմանային նշանների պահանջները, չենթարկվելով հենակետում ծառայություն իրականացնող զինվորների կանգ առնելու պահանջին, նրանց կողմից արձակած կրակահերթին՝ Եղիշե Գեւորգյանը շարունակել է բարձր արագությամբ շարժվել դեպի Հայաստան-Ադրբեջան պետական սահմանը, որի արդյունքում հատել է այն եւ անցել Ադրբեջանի Հանրապետության տարածք:
Եղիշե Գեւորգյանին եւ նրա կնոջը մեղադրանք է առաջադրվել Քրեական օրենսգրքի 329-րդ հոդվածի 2-րդ մասի հատկանիշներով: Նրանց նկատմամբ խափանման միջոց է ընտրվել ստորագրություն չհեռանալու մասին:
Հիշեցնենք, որ Եղիշե Գեւորգյանն 8 անգամ դատապարտված է եղել, իսկ սահմանն ապօրինի հատելու պահին նրան կասկածում էին (առանց կասկածյալի կարգավիճակի) ծանր հանցագործության մասնակցելու մեջ:
