Ուելսի հավաքականի կիսապաշտպան Աարոն Ռեմզին կարծում է, որ իր թիմի համար հասել է Անգլիայի հավաքականին հաղթելու ժամանակը։ Ուելսը վերջին անգամ Անգլիային հաղթել է 1984 թվականին՝ Ռեմզիի ծնվելուց մի քանի տարի առաջ։
-Հույս ունեմ՝ մենք կկարողանանք անել դա։ Մենք արդեն վաղուց չենք հաղթել նրանց։ Հիմա ճիշտ ժամանակն է այդ տենդենցը փոխելու։ Անգլիայի հավաքականի հանդեպ հաղթանակը մեզ համար շատ յուրահատուկ բան կլինի։
Ես հավատում եմ, որ մրցաշարի ընթացում ավելի լավ կսկսենք խաղալ։ Սլովակիայի նկատմամբ հաղթանակը մեզ շատ լավ հնարավորություն է տալիս հետագա հաջողությունների համար։ Անգլիացիները միշտ շատ լավ են խաղում ընտրական մրցաշարերում, սակայն եզրափակիչ հատվածում նրանց վրա չափազանց մեծ ճնշում է լինում։ Մենք որակավորման թուլում մի փոքր անկում ունեցանք, սակայն հաջողությամբ հաղթահարեցինք դա։ Դա մեզ օգնեց աճելու որպես թիմ,-ասել է Ռեմզին։
Ուելսն ու Անգլիան կհանդիպեն հունիսի 16-ին։
